BOX HILL HAWKS v CASEY SCORPIONS
spirit of norm smith replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
agree ... 41 available. Mitch King and Lamumba unavailable. Dawes rested due to contract negotiations. MFC: we have paid $500,000 for 4 years (official) for $2million total for 50 games. $40,000 per game. Its changing to $200,000 plus performance incentives. We need to keep Hogan. Take it or leave it. -
I have consulted with an actuary and after 5 hours, they have confirmed my predictions are eligible. Next step NASA for verification of the AFLs new rules !!

Who are the Dees chasing for 2017 and at what cost?
spirit of norm smith replied to junk's topic in Melbourne Demons
The best mid outside the Giants super-mid group is Jake Barrett. Offer the Giants a deal with picks swapped ... Mfc 3rd rd 46 & 4th rd 64 for Barrett and Giants pick 53. They need the picks to get academy currency. -
Yes I believe Tigers offer is $750,000 over 4 years... $3million. Ridiculous really but they are desperate!!

The youngest most inexperienced side

No excuses. We were very very poor against the Blues. -
Outs. Michie ANB Vdhbrg Weed Ins. Harmes Salem Garlett Pedersen Jetta T.Mcd Frost Salem O.mcd Hunt Stretch Viney Harmes Petracca Pedersen Kent Watts Hogan Garlett Gawn Tyson N.Jones Oliver Brayshaw Vince Bugg This would be my best 22 for the Year !!

Callum Twomey says Jeremy Howe has been one of most successful trades in only behind Dangerfield and Treloar. With BenKen in the magoos, who is winning this trade??? hand grenades ready...

DEMONLAND PLAYER OF THE YEAR - Round 22
spirit of norm smith replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
6 Jetta 5 T .mcd 4 Hunt 3 N.Jones 2 pass 1 pass I would say only 4 players actually should be paid. 18 passengers. -
IQ of our players is very low. Very dumb decisions today.
-
3 votes B Gibbs 2 votes E Curnow 1 vote P Cripps will anyone from Melbourne actually fuc$^#n stand up !! bruise free footy...
-
Agree very flat... AGAIN many players just expect it to happen. Pedersen should be there ahead of the Weed. Hogan MUST lift and demand the footy. Cripps and Gibbs alone are killing us. Tag Cripps surely. Are we tanking?
-
Same disposals. Same inside 50s. Carlton 4 goals. Demons 1 goal. Fwd setup is poor. Just kick the goal. Over handball still... WTF
-
Hamish Brayshaw is likely in the draft range 50+ or early rookie. I think MFC may grab him as a late draft punt.

Michael Hibberd and Michael Hurley
spirit of norm smith replied to P-man's topic in Melbourne Demons
Hibberd and EFC 4th round pick 58 for Demons 2nd round pick 32. Fair. We then have 48, 58, 68 (Wagner upgrade). -
Agree. Jack Grimes had a great game in Darwin then was one of many MFC players overrun by the Saints. Grimes gets dropped and despute another very good VFL games he has not got a look in. Roos has marked his card unfairly.
-
I thought Kennedy would get the call if Garlett was out. Strange to ignore him as the small forward option. Though happy to see ANB back. Harmes to work on disposal efficiency. Salem provides better ball use albeit may still be only 90% fit. Pedersen very unlucky. But Hogan with Weed are the future.

GEELONG VFL v CASEY SCORPIONS
spirit of norm smith replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
I love the new brand of optimism on Demonland. Resilience then Faith then Hope then Optomism then Excitement then Expectations then Nervousness then Premiership then Merchandise spending then Arrogance. Hawthorn is stuck on arrogance. -
Lumumba placed on long-term injury list

Sad end if it happens. The Prince would be handy in a 2017 finals campaign with his experience.
