  1. Templeton will get a rookie opportunity. Classic rookie... needs physical development.
  2. Late mail ... Dees will take a tall defender in rookie draft. Either Joel Tippett or Alex Spencer preferred.
  3. I would like to see us give Matt Sully or Joel Tippett a rookie opportunity. We need another KPD in the event of injury or poor form.
  4. Nathan Drummond from Murray Bushrangers. This kid has real pace, good build and runs with the footy. Better player than Jayden Hunt IMO by a mile. Will get a rookie opportunity.
  5. Agree Darcy Hourigan would be a big chance. I would like #2 Sully / Tippett #20 Templeton #36 Hourigan #52 Scott Jones
  6. He would be a justified rookie selection in my opinion. Insurance for Tom Mcdonald in terms of form and injury. We another KPD to play on big power forwards. Tippett impressed in the 2 games I saw him play this year for Wests.
  7. Not a priority but would be handy. Plays tall and very combative.
  8. Key backs on the menu... Sully, Tippett, Wilson or Beard as mature age OR Spencer, Beasley or Fort as a youngster to develop.
  9. worthy of a rookie punt if available ... I thought pick 57 might have been Templeton and not the smoky Hunt.
  10. Yes, Matthew Sully is more worthy of a spot on our list ahead of Byrnes, Nicho, Bail and a few others.
  11. key back is looking very thin ... I believe we need to look at Matthew Sully from Geelong VFL, Joel Tippett from West Adelaide or Koby Beard from Port Magpies.
  12. Matt Sully MUST be our PSD or first rookie selection. If FRAWLEY or MCDONALD go down, we have no cover !! (Pedersen only, and he makes me nervous).
  13. Matthew Sully - 195cms 89kgs - solid key position FB/CHB. Had a great year for Geelong Cats VFL Team He would be perfect backup and future FB (allowing Frawley to play more attacking rebound role).
  14. #2 Matt Sully VFL Cats... we need another key backman #20 Chris Cain VFL Port Melbourne... mature mid, skilled $38 Nick Bourke TAC Geel Falcons... rebounding HBF, good skilled left foot and tough #56 Scott Jones Swan Dists WA ... Developing ruck just my opinion
  15. This is some who missed out: (a bakers dozen) James Battersby mid SA Luke Reynolds HFF tall SA Eli Templeton wing TAS Nick Bourke HBF GEEL Isaih Miller HBF NTH BALL Alex Spina Mid/HFF SA Darcy Hourigan HFF tall SA Alex Spencer KPB SAND'Ham Dwayne Wilson FP SA Nathan Drummond HBF MURRAY James Tsitas Mid/ HBF Geel Ben Sokol HBF WA Isaac Conway mid QLD For me, Templeton, Battersby, Miller and Bourke would be suitable #2 rookie draftees. Matt Sully from VFL Cats also must be a big chance in our rookie consideration. We will need Chb/FB cover.
  16. amazed... Templeton can seriously play. Disadvantaged by division 2 game schedule.
  17. I saw him play in APS v AGS ... impressed in patches. I would have thought a rookie option. Very light on build. Was quick and runs with the footy. A punt at #57
  18. the odds appear to be Freeman 50% (Demonland & Emma Quayle) , Salem 40% (AFL.com), Sheed 5%, Aish 2%, Scharenberg 2%, Lennon 1%.
  19. Demonland in 2012 wanted Ollie Wines ... and his form warranted that in 2013. Freeman seems to be our pick in 2014
  20. agreed ... I think clear top 7 then Freeman, Salem & Sheed. Sheed is bigger, as skilled and has that long left foot kick. Not disappointed if D Sheed is #9
  21. Boyd, Kelly, Aish, Bontempelli, Kolodddjjjasnjiiii, Scharenberg, Billings ... Likely its Freeman(my pref), Salem or Sheed. Could one of the top 7 slide??
  22. Clear favourite on Demonland (2012 Ollie Wines was the call). Will Demonland get the raging bull Freeman as a ready to play, fast mid that MFC needs. (and who our kids can go Wow when he speeds down the MCG wing).
  23. Salem... Skilled, evasive, smart... light on right now (needs a pre season). I still prefer Freeman but can see why Salem appeals. Classic Swans & Hawks style left footed mid.
