  1. Sensational win today. It shows what the Demons are capable of. The talent is there to rise further next year. Enjoy the win everyone. I am going to buy the match DVD. A bloke called Jesse Hogan still to add back in.
  2. absolutely... we need Hogan and Weideman together
  3. Go Dees. You can win it. Beat the arrogant hawks and the fuc%+#n biased umpires !!!!
  4. Some potential rookies... Nick Rippon 22, 182cm Nth Ballarat VFL, Mid. Ballwinner. Goalkicker. Luke Meadows 19, 192cms WA 3rd tall defender. Tough & skillful Darcy Cameron 19, 199cms WA ruckman. Developing. Forward ability. Declan Kielty 19, 192cms Casey Scorpions. Tall defender. Agile.
  5. Jetta T.McD Frost Salem O.McD Vince ('Hibberd') Hunt Viney Stretch Petracca Hogan Kent Garlett Weideman Watts Gawn Tyson N.Jones Oliver Brayshaw Melksham Harmes I think this best 22 looks ready for finals action. Depth: fwds - Kennedy Jkh Pedersen Hulett, mids - ANB M.Jones Vdhberg Bugg Trengove, backs - Dunn Garland White* Wagner* j.smith(r) rucks - Spencer Mitch.King ? Lumumba (missing Grimes Dawes Newton Terlich Michie* Max King*)
  6. Anyone seen Jaxon Briggs play recently. I saw him kick 4 goals earlier this year in Casey 1sts and he was impressive. I think he is only 19 or so. He had pace and skills and goalkicking sense. Named on the bench for the development team. Has he been injured or dropped off severely??
  7. 6 missing: Spencer, Lumumba and King injured Dawes and Wagner rested/emergencies
  8. Kennedy unlucky. Garlett needs to show more desire this week. Otherwise I like to team with Bugg to get the role on Lewis. We can win.
  9. Weed getting set for a big preseason and then a rip at Round 1 2017.
  10. Agreed Hunt onto the wing in 2017
  11. POOR DECISION MAKING POOR SKILLS POOR VISION POOR SETUPS nothing has changed. The talent on the list masks the above. Today versus the Suns demonstrated how little MFC had progressed. It was the same v Crows, Saints, Eagles games in the last month where we were the better team but lost due to our skills, vision and decisions.
  12. Agree Jack Watts must be in the leadership and DVC would reward his ability to stand up under pressure.
  13. 6 Watts... yes clearly BOG 5 Frost... Developing very well. Skills need improvement though. 4 Tyson...got it and was the best midfielder clearly 3 Stretch... run run Billy run 2 Vandenburg... got the goals when others forget that is the reason 1 Jetta ...steady once again except when he and t.mcd contested a mark Apologies to big Maxy. O.mcd was okay but still clangers, bodied out in marking contests and his weak handballs reflect poor intensity. B. Vince ... minus 6 even though Lynch didn't convert
  14. s t o l a f u. work it out
  15. ins. Newton Kennedy Garland Grimes Michie Pedersen Oliver outs. Wagner O.mcd Dawes Garlett m.jones hunt vince (inj) jetta t.mcd garland grimes frost michie Harmes Viney stretch Kent Pedersen Petraccccccccca Kennedy Hogan Watts Gawn Tyson N.Jones Oliver Newton Brayshaw Vandenburg Todays team was poor. 7 changes demonstrates how sub standard the performance was.
  16. Today showed how poor our disposal is. The Suns should have punished us and won by 4-5 goals. The Hawks will crucify us. O.Mcdonald, T.Mcdonald, Wagner &Frost were absolutely shocking.
  17. One must go and one must stay... both SHOULD go!!! I cannot see either in September where the pace and intensity would be too much for either. Likely Dawes to go and Pedersen will stay.
  18. Yes Jack is guaranteed to get a 2nd chance. Not "good enough" apparently yet many others such as Garlett, Vandenburg, Dawes play poorly for Casey yet get selected ??? !!!??? Hunt had a good 4 weeks than very average in last 3 weeks. O.Mcdonald has had 8 poor games in the last 9 weeks. Development is the reason afforded but it does lead to losses being tolerated.
  19. Jack Grimes was BOG again today... as he was last week (will poll very well in the VFL best & fairest).
  20. MFC 3rd round pick around 46-50. Options more based on need or availability. Oliver Florent - Sandringham Dragons182cm 75 kgs speedy wing/half fwd. Jeremy Goddard - WA. 202 cms raw Ruckman. AFL Academy. Demons need more ruck depth behind Gawn. Sam McLarty -Oakleigh Chargers 195cms key defender/forward. Very assured in key defender role. or trade pick for James Stewart or Jake Barrett from GWS.
  21. 2nd round MFC pick around 29-30... options are Griffin Logue WA- running 3rd tall defender 193cm 92 kgs in style of Josh Gibson Willem Drew Vic Country - tall 187cm wingman. Good pace and clean ballwinning. Plays like Darcy Parish. Brodie Romensky - 189cm utility midfielder. Starring for Western Jets. Plays like Ryan Griffen. Or trade pick for Michael Hibberd !!
  22. Mitch White ... rested on rotation. Compulsory to rest a MFC player not on the injury list ! How can they fit anymore into the Scorps lineup ??
  23. too slow? I thought posters said it was his disposal, which was good. Now its pace ...come on, Vandenburg, White, Wagner, Bugg, Jetta are hardly jets!!
  24. Swap MFC 3rd round Pick #46 to GWS for Jake Barrett. Another BOG 40 possessions game last weekend. Barrett would be a huge addition to the Dees midfield. He is super talented.
  25. Must WIN game this week. Lose to the Suns and I think we are treading water. Our lack of injuries mean in Roos and Goodwins eyes that this is our very very best 22. We need to win by 7-8 goals.
