  1. All the 'rumour" is that Mav Weller is a "bit of a di#ck@head and is full of himself. No doubting his footy ability ... but was behind 5-6 mids at the Suns (Suns will bring in Jack Martin this year as well). He is 20-21, ready to go and can play at AFL standard. I would look at him as a definite rookie option.
  2. Sam Blease to become a forward threat ... capable of a 40+ goal season
  3. possible rookie option ... rookie pick 50 ish.
  4. A small forward would be handy ... Malcolm Karpany, Dwayne Wilson or Jay Kennedy-Harris.
  5. Matt Sully impressed in the VFL. Certainly a rookie chance but Dees should look at him as a pick 57 option.
  6. Freeman ... pace, aggression, raging bull, Melbourne boy, solid built. Ready to go for '14.
  7. if available, Scharenberg is a big decision to make ...

  9. groundswell has shifted ... Demonland had pick 9 likelihood as 70% Freeman, 20% Lennon, 5% Salem and 5 others 1% likely, NOW Scharenberg could be the steal of the 2013 draft !!
  10. Roos likes tough players who take no backward steps. Freeman is a raging bull.
  11. Fingers crossed Daniel McStay is available at pick 40
  12. Absolutely ... he is ready to go. Smart, tough, skilled. Plays like Brendan Goddard.
  13. I like Freeman, Lennon and Salem. All Vic kids. Scharenberg would be tempting if he slipped down... I rate him top 3
  14. heart yes ... but lack of pace and injuries cut him down. A good WAFL career ahead.
  15. 9/ Nathan Freeman... the running bull 40/ Jay Kennedy-Harris... small fwd 57/ Jake Kolidhashnji... tall defender fingers crossed
  16. Just read on AFL website that McStay has been courted by some clubs and may go Top 30. He will be a very good CHB type.
  17. I hope this kid is available at pick 40. Is exactly what our "2017" premiership team will need.
  18. Its Freeman at pick 9 for me ... but if he is gone, Ben Lennon is my next call.
  19. your words ... "I have no idea". Time will tell. Lets see what happens and make our judgement. The point to simplify for you is that the SANFL, Vfl & WAFL are full of league players like Brayden O'Hara (Myles Sewell, Freddie Clutterbuck etc etc) that are solid footballers but not up to AFL.
  20. Guy Page and Shane Edwards are small defenders, don't win the footy enough and dont have enough runs on the board as yet. Both are prospects but I cant see them getting drafted or rookied. If I am wrong, that's life but this my opinion. Yes we all have an opinion. Mckay has not priven his durability. Good state league stock like Brayden O'Hara. Probably seen as not quite up to it. If Barrass is overlooked in the draft, we would be wise to give him a shot. Smart, skilled, he knows when to spoil and when to back himself.
  21. yes thought Riley was worth a punt. I would like us to grab Matt Sully from VFL Cats if he is not drafted. We need more tall defenders.
