Andrew Gaff
Didn’t we spend our money on Lever. We freed up Wattsy $ to afford Lever. What’s left? Only if we cash in Vince and Lewis.

Needs to run into form. Still in recovery mode.

Brendan McCartney - Moved to the bench
Ridiculous. We continue to find ways to fuc$@(/!kup everything. McCartney will be gone by season end
-

Good return. Ahead of Harmes, ANB, Melksham, Vince and Lewis. Definitely retain for next 5-6 weeks to pickup pace of the game again. Definite keeper

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - OSKAR BAKER
Great story on MFC Website about young Oskar. Had to overcome adversity. I like his style to take on the game with his pace. Don’t be surprised if the ginger ninja gets a spot in the team in early rounds of 2018.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARRISON PETTY
Agree he is big and strong. I still shudder at the Luke Molan big and strong selection from 2001. I thought we would pick a Ruck like Hayes or runner like Wooller or Garner. He might actually develop into a ruck as he is apparently still growing.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - OSKAR BAKER
There’s a spot in the team for Baker. Needs to compete with Stretch for the fast running wing position that I see as a missing element in our best 22.
-
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO
Real competitor but will need to work extra hard. Must watch Caleb Daniel and Jake Gresham really closely. They have overcome height deficiencies.

Welcome to Demonland: Bayley Fritsch
Keeps the Casey pathway connections. Motivator for the other young guns.

2017 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Hmmm. Ballard, Moore, Taylor and Walker. Not a win here. Ballard ... skinny Grgic type. Disposal is below average. Moore ... is ok at 31 but not if Garner or Wooller is available. Taylor ... tall defender. We have plenty. Walker ... opportunist forward with some mid potential Would prefer if available on this listing 29 Wooller 31 Garner 36 Farrell 47 McLean or Coleman-Jones

2017 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Hamish Brayshaw. Great grab on afl website. Would be great to see MFC potentially grab him at 47. He has the ability to make it.
-
Welcome to Demonland: Bayley Fritsch
Fritsch was out with Jamie Elliott. Very high risk draftee.

2017 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Great story about Zac Bailey on AFL website. Good Demons connection. I had him at pick 30. Would be happy to see him land at a MFC selection.

Welcome to Demonland: Bayley Fritsch
Heard Fritsch was out drinking last night. Got arrested outside nightclub at 4am. Might have been fighting. Similar to Jack Darling in 2010. How could anyone but MFC take the punt on this reckless young man !! (Hope HS picks up this news )

2017 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Knightmare on Big Footy has MFC choices as 29 Wooller - yes if available 31 Spargo - good but prefer Garner 36 Mcpherson - good but prefer Fritsch All good choices if we were lucky enough. Though need more height at pick 47. As per my top 50. I think Fritsch at 36 is the go.

Jack Trengove signed by Port Adelaide as a Delisted Free Agent
Yes really glad Jack got picked up. Two Demon “Jacks” now at the power.

2017 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Given a good look over the 2017 draft. Not overly strong but top group is consistent so some bargains for the clubs with picks 10-15. Top 20 Group predicted: 1 Davies-Uniacke, 2 Rayner, 3 Dow, 4 Brayshaw, 5 Cerra, 6 Coffield, 7 Hayes, 8 Stephenson, 9 Brander, 10 O’Brien, 11 Constable, 12 D.Fogarty, 13 Naughton, 14 Clark, 15 Higgins, 16 Bonar, 17 Balta, 18 Ballenden, 19 Allen, 20 Naish (f/son) 21 Bulldogs N.Murphy 22 Cats Ling 23 Kangas Richards 24 Cats Worpel 25 Tigers Houlahan 26 Eagles Clavarino 27 Giants Garner 28 Giants Spargo 29 Demons Wooller 30 Blues Zac Bailey 31 Demons Gryan Miers 32 Eagles Ainsworth 33 Swans Mynott 34 Saints Petruccelle 35 Cats Dixon 36 Demons Bailey Fritsch 37 Eagles Starcevich 38 Pies T.Brown (f/son) 39 Crows McPherson 40 Lions. Crossley happy with Wooller, Miers, Fritsch & McLean. Seb Williams, Aiden Quigley and Matthew Day are my smokies for top 50. Callum Coleman-Jones could be another option.
