OUR FUTURE TEAM
Petracca out??? He wasn’t at his best but is super talented and really showed his ability in 2018. I’ll back in the Trac.

Injury List - Season 2019
Injuries already killing our 2019 year. 11 players out with injuries already. It’s ridiculous. Wrap up the rest in cotton wool

Casey v Box Hill - Practice Game on Sunday
Stretch is a chance this week

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MARTY HORE
Hore showed glimpses but ultimately was not ready. Needs a year in the system. He is a “not quite” player. Not quite tall enough, quick enough or skilled enough. OMac is the same!

POSTGAME: Rd 1 vs Port Adelaide
Goodwin is joking surely. “We wished we would’ve have more time to prepare”. That means missing September. Good teams back up. They “Are” ready to play. 5 months of preseason. Suspension and injuries (aside from Viney) were in preparation. No excuses. We lost the contested footy and couldn’t handle it. And they missed Wines. Simply we expected to just turn up. Where was the support for Gawn. We need Preuss May VBerg in to match the physical teams. Port were worthy winners. They should have won by 40+.

Casey v Box Hill - Practice Game on Sunday
Baker likes to run and kick. He can spot a player unlike a few of our 1st team seniors. Though last year I remember Rawlings suggesting he needed to link up more with other runners (except they weren’t as quick). Hope they don’t turn Baker into another handball mad midfielder. It drives the forwards crazy.

Casey v Box Hill - Practice Game on Sunday
Have to get some more outside run. Baker will play once he gets more match fitness. He is quick.

Casey v Box Hill - Practice Game on Sunday
I’d still bring Preuss in next week. He can play forward and bring in when Gawn needs a rest. Preuss also can handle some physical stuff and get angry. We need a bit of anger.

POSTGAME: Rd 1 vs Port Adelaide
20 passengers. Very disappointing. How can you be under prepared after 5 months. We were not ready. We were not hungry. 5-6 changes coming

My 3 word player analysis V Port
Yes that’s why May and Petty are seen as the answer
-
Lewis Out - Tom Sparrow In
Sparrow looks good. Could retain his place. A few others experienced players are struggling.

Yes watch how Preuss and kk go need them in

Round 1 Team
Agree. Need to get May Vdberg kk Preuss in. I like the physical intensity that May Preuss Vdgberg adf
-
Round 1 Team
Yes agree Wagner and Hore deserve their chance. Not in the best 22 so debut in MFC is a lot earlier than I expected or considered. Shows the team is absent 4-6 players.
-
Round 1 Team
Weaker team than 2018 And it’s ONLY round 1
-
Round 1 Team
?? 7 out of my best 22 May Lever Vberg J Smith kk Preuss Hannan
-
Sam Weideman + contract
50 goals from Weideman is the aim. He needs to be the Hogan type now.
-
Casey Demons: 2019
Cory Machaya out for 2019. ACL. Huge blow. Was showing huge promise.
-
Casey Demons: 2019
5-6 experienced heads, a few 1-2 years and then some kids or suburban footy players trying their hand. A fairly light group compared with others but still a chance for top 4 in 2019. Buxton-Wales will be a good pickup. Good player. McCaffrey also could surprise a few.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JAY LOCKHART
Lockhart showed enough to be close to AFL ready last year. With a preseason now he could be very handy as a backup for Jetta or a lockdown mid. Definitely shows we nearly drafted him last year.
