Unfortunately for Jack, his position as a 5th midfielder role as occupied by Dom Tyson. Jack would be the perfect mid if Tyson/Lewis got injured. Jack is a high quality young man. His injury was a cruel setback. He played 80 games in his first 4 years (aged 19 to 22), and was a premier midfielder. His injury in 2014 was another MFC curse. Without complaints, he plays with all his heart at Casey and IS A LEADER at that level this year. I can see another club taking a free hit if Jack was delisted, most likely Adelaide or even the Hawks. But a return to Sturt in SANFL is on the cards. I do hope we see Jack back on the MCG even if he gets just one more opportunity. He is a great clubman.

OMAC had a iffy game. Some good spoils and long clearances but still 5-6 heartstoppers that will be costly if they continue. His disposal is always 50/50. May was very good. Strong marks and solid disposals.

Again our sins of overuse were exposed and North were ready for the slow 4-5 circular handball game. Wake up Goodwin. Ineffective handballs going 50 cms is useless in contested congestion. Clayton Oliver will be a potential star but 3 of his errant handballs caused turnovers and led to North goals. Like in the last quarter, when Oliver runs and kicks (and goals), we are a very dangerous team.
