  1. Disagree... if available go with Matt Hammelman as ruck/fwd option Agree ... small attacking fwd ... Tom Wilkinson.
  2. Tom Wilkinson ... saw this kid play in TAC Cup finals. Had him in draft range 40 - 50 yet missed out. Pace, pace, pace. Possession winner. Goal kicker. Will develop as wing/HFF. Serious endurance.
  3. Now with the draft done, Grimley as a rookie makes sense as a key forward and backup ruck. He kicks goals, has skills and knows how to win !!
  4. Jamar has 1 year left. Max Gawn will be the ruck/fwd. Spencer is a spud, lacking any skill or coordination and it is unbelievable to think he will be the one. I would grab Sam Grimley as a rookie under the hawks nose. He is a fwd/ ruck and compliments Gawn as a two prone ruck division.
  5. Aim is 6-7 wins. Realistic given we lost the last 10 games and two of our wins in 2014 were less than a goal.
  6. Hawks, Swans, Port adel & Geelong... top4 Next ... Kangas , Freo, Tigers and Suns. Next... pies, Bombers, Eagles, Crows Bottom 6 ... Lions, Blues, Dogs, Dees, Giants, Saints. 15th for me. Above Blues, Dogs and Saints.
  7. I think his SA factor as a go home after passing last year's draft is the reason.
  8. Yes we have two picks at 2, 20. At 2 its either Tom Wilkinson for a Robbie Gray type with speed and goalkicking or Nic Newman as a tough skilled Beau Waters type HBF. At 20, its either Matthew Hammelman as marking fwd / ruck or Rowan Marshall also ruck/fwd to help Max Gawn in 2016 onwards. Both will develop like Max King. We will need an agile ruckman to top off our rise
  9. Perfect storm...Petracca, Brayshaw, Neal-Bullen, Stretch and McDonald Add Frost, Lamumba, Newton & Gartlett WOW . Plus Goodwin. WOW WOW WOW
  10. No !!!!!! Family ties ... Neal-Bullen is good but we have inside mids@@@
  11. Late mail... Demons to look at Matthew Hammelman for pick 40. Elite tall from Queensland. 198cm, good athlete, good mark and kick. Would compliment Hogan and develop into ruck/fwd combo with Gawn.
  12. Petracca at pick 3 and in red & blue round 1 ... I'd like to see that !!!!
  13. 2. Christian Petracca 3. Angus Brayshaw 40. Oscar McDonald 53. Dean Gore pop the champagne
  14. Oscar Mcdonald if available then in preference Dean Gore Ed Langdon James Rose Nathan Drummond Touk Miller Lukas Webb
  15. Anyone think Lever at 3 is a chance ...??
  16. Yes agree that Dean Gore would be a handy pick at 40. I think he should go around 30 so would be rapted to grab him.
  17. Pros... key forward, competitive, driven. Cons... health issues/injuries,needs more physical development, kicking is 50/50. I rate McCartin as a risky choice. I think the Saints will choose Petracca. Whether we again think he is risky. I will Laverde is the best option at pick 3.
  18. I think we will look to grab another young prospect here. Perhaps Daniel Capiron, Nathan Drummond, Jack Lonie or Billy Evans. Mathew Panos is a rough chance.
