Delisting, Trade and FA discussion 2018
I think Casey upgrade mean support the progress by selecting a Casey VFL player in the national draft. It makes sense if there’s a quality youngster available Jay Lockhart, Corey Wagner, and Mitch Lewis all definitely worthy of a late draft pick. Unfortunately no Fritsch gold but some rough and ready types to provide depth and potential.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Yes. I’ll keep Jesse if he wants to stay. But if his life is better with family in the Wild West than we all move out.

AFL DRAFT COMBINE 2018
Matty Lloyd - Rebels under 18s midfielder His parents must have been Bombers fans or had no idea about an Essendon full forward. I wonder if he does the grass thing before kicking for goal !!! Velvet sledgehammer 2

Chris Jansen
Mature 23yo midfielder. Ex SANFL star who moved to Kangas VFL team in 2018. Strong body. Good skills. Quite burst of pace at stoppages. Kangas AFL would have played him in 2018 if available. Co-captained& asst coached Kangas VFL He meets our need to midfield depth. We should get in before Kangas.

Pull the trigger? ... 2018 Edition
Hogan for picks 5 & 6. Ask Suns for May and Kolodjashnij for picks 6 and 40. Effectively Hogan for May and pick 5.

Delisting, Trade and FA discussion 2018
Yes lots of changes to the list. Delisted 6 players out, 2 retired and 4 potentially further trade outs. Need to put the “now hiring” sign up.

Jackson Nelson
187 cm 84 kg tall defender wingman. This kid has been starved of opportunity at the Eagles. 42 games in 4 years. A definite chance to get him back to Victoria (although he is a Geelong boy). Good pace and skilled. Was tipped to be drafted around 25-26 in 2014 draft but slipped to 51 games. Solid build under the Eagles gym program. With a potential 3rd round pick coming our way from the Saints for Kent (around 43-44) we should make a play for Jackson Nelson now.

Josh Mahoney - Trade Radio 2/10/18
Great listening to Mahoney. Very open and honest discussion. Affirmed all the player potential trade news and other opportunities. I like the confirmation about Kolodjashnij medical checks Confirmation that Hunt is required and a role is there once he gets back to his best

Internal options for a speedy winger
Most likely pace in the midfield comes from Stretch Hunt Baker Obviously an external target is on the cards.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
Yes Max wants to preserve himself. It was a big year and Max was physically battered by the end. Preuss provides real relief, backup and support.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KADE KOLODJASHNIJ
Yes kolofhgdjjkjki fills the half back quarterback role perfectly. Good news.

Go home factor
Thompson , Farmer, Hogan. It shows how hard it is to keep interstate stars. The interstate clubs find it hard to keep Victorian kids. It happens every every year. Gibbs. Lever. Whoever it is. The media loves the go home factor. I have always backed in the draft Victorian kids for MFC. It looks like our current team will be heavy Vic based for the premiership drive.

2018 Player Reviews: # 47 Lachlan Filipovic
Strange decision. Never really looked that good in under 18s. A speculative punt.

Would we take $cully back?
Even if S$$$cully was on fire, I would not even ... on him

Farewell Dom Tyson
Yes Tyson has had chances but his turnovers outweigh his accumulation of the footy.
