WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BALIC
Great article November 2015 by Paul Amy on Balic I also recall Balic training with the Dees in the 2015 preseason

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
10 & 27 for Lever is overs. He is a backman who intercepts marks and punches the footy. Not a star midfielder. Not a key forward match winner. Not a commanding key back. Defender. Townsend (a dumped Giant) and him broke even on GF day.

2017 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Yes Jack Graham was strangely a slider to the 50s. Was ready to go and mature body, good decisions, smart but lacked a yard in pace. Who cares sometimes. He gets it. He knows what to do. This year Mitch Crowden is that player. Played senior footy. Solid build. Skilled with a 50-60 metre kick easily. But lacks just outright pace. Who cares. He is not slow. Think Matt Crouch just a little quicker and stockier. Could go pick 30 or 60.

End of year delistings
Seen Filopovic play in under 18s. Very surprised he was a rookie. Did not show enough footy smarts. He is athletic and was okay at hit outs and centre square leap. But lacked around the ground smarts and no overhead contested marking. Will need plenty of time or a revelatory experience.

End of year delistings
Agree though Filopovic is only a rookie. Skinny. Raw. No football brain. Doubt he will be a player.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Betts was only being held by one arm and 5 metres out. How could the Tiger biased umps pay that. Frees 19 to 24. And the Crows got the last 5 from 6 in the last 6 minutes when it was over

2017 Player Reviews: # 22 Aaron vandenBerg
Last chance saloon. He showed something but the last 2 years means he must be injury free in 2018.
-
Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
I would only give pick 10 for Lever. Nothing more. He would not win you a grand final. A good player but not a game changer.
-
2017 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Anyone who has seen the Dragons this year must be impressed by Seb Williams. Has a lot of AFL qualities.
-
Jack Lukosius
Gun player. Likely top 3 pick in 2018 draft. But why post on Demons site. We have no intent on getting in a position for such a pick.
-
End of year delistings
Need to find another tall ruck/fwd in rookie draft or late in main draft. Keegan Brooksby or Jack Hannath are only two players that come to mind. If Maxy went down, we would be fu&$(/d.

2017 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Agree Liam Ryan is another to watch. Interested in how he and Jeffy would pressure the opposition.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Lever and crows pick 35 & 53 for MFC pick 10 & 27 & 45
-
2017 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Tim Kelly. Runner up in Sandover Medal. Quick. Skilled. 23yo. Exactly what MFC needs. Goal kicker. Ready to play. Rotating mid to half forward. Would be available in range 30-50.

End of year delistings
Off the list: Trengove. Spencer. Hulett delisted. White delisted off rookie list. Garland likely to retire. Kennedy likely to be final delisted player. Kent to Eagles for pick 48. Add to the list: Jeremy Smith cat-b to be promoted. Lever to Dees for pick 10 & 27. Dees get pick Lever and pick 53. Draftees 45 (Tim Kelly) 48 (Charlie Thompson), 53 (Frisch). Delisted free agent (ruck option such as keegan brooksby) Rookie pick 10. Seb Williams.

Welcome to Demonland: Bayley Fritsch
Big chance for 3rd or 4th round pick
-
End of year delistings
Yes. Garland. Kennedy. Stay for depth. Surely Kennedy gets a chance. Kent trade? West Coast?? Vandenburg rookied? that would create 5 list spots (4 spots as J Smith promoted). Lever and 3 draftees around 35,45,59.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Lever and crows pick 35 & 53 for mfc pick 10 & 27 & 45 optomistic I know
-
End of year delistings
King is still a developing 19yo ruckman
-
Welcome to Demonland: Bayley Fritsch
It's a yes from me
-
End of year delistings
After today, Trengove and Spencer are gone. Spencer showed nothing. Rather persist with King and bring in Meese as Gawns backup.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
66 pages. Good sign. Still the 'Get Ollie Wines Thread' was 92 pages long before they flipped and selected Toumpas!!
