  1. Obviously need to replace some injuries (Hore, Petty, Tmcd) and bring back Lever and Gawn. Likely ins are definitely Gawn & Lever. Would love to give Bedford a run to show how desperately vital a small forward is. Hibberd May Lever Salem Frost Lewis Fritsch Viney Brayshaw Petracca Weid Hannan Bedford Preuss Hunt Gawn Harmes Olive r Jones Lockhart Dunkley Anb Key missing - Jetta Melksham Tmcd Hore Vandenburg JSmith
  2. Lack of a quality small forward again today. Plenty of opportunities went missing.
  3. Weid is really struggling. No second efforts. His usually reliable kicking is lacking. His miss in the second qtr today from 30 metres out was disgraceful. He missed everything and only just made 30 metres. No contested marking makes him completely one dimensional. Need to persist but definitely needs a stick of dynamite somewhere. Talent only gets you so far. Attitude and hard work are needed at AFL level.
  4. 6 Oliver 5 Harmes 4 Tmcd 3 Fritsch 2 Frost 1 Petracca
  5. Add tmcd and Petty Add Hore. Broken collarbone.
  6. Omcd, Spargo and Keilty are on the “potential delist” group.
  7. Need to make an offer to Dan Butler from the Tigers. Maybe a 3 year deal would get it done. Aggressive type who knows how to hit the scoreboard. Also he stays on the ground. We usually have “3 up, zero down “ in marking contests. Also Ben Keays from the Lions may be worth a late draft pick 70s. Having a great year in NEAFL but cannot crack a game due to Charlie Cameron.
  8. Smith and Vandenburg are difficult to get on the park. Tragic really given they both add a lot when fully fit. Fingers crossed for 2020
  9. Good to hear Jordan was one of the best. Still a youngster at only 18. Great skills.
  10. Top 10 likely after watching the last two games of the championships. Some good mids again in the group 1- Noah Anderson VM 2- Matthew Rowell VM 3- Brodie Kemp VC 4- Caleb Serong VC 5- Thomas Green ALLIES 6- Lachlan Ash VC 7- Deven Robertson WA 8- Hayden Young VC 9- Mitch O’Neill ALLIES 10- Dylan Stephens SA
  11. Yes absolutely. Anb was running around but had no impact whatsoever. Is he a midfielder or a half/small forward. Neither on yesterday’s effort.
  12. - midfield poor - umps killing us - Petty on Hipwood (Goodwin you are a fool)
  13. Jkh is a chance for next week. Definitely too good for VFL. Seems to be that in between type player.
  14. Brodie Kemp steadily rising up to be definitely a top 5-6 pick. He’ll sure be one listed on JTs radar.
  15. Fair enough. It was last years finals game between port and box hill. Mascitti dominated the game and kicked a few goals. Certainly won enough inside ball and yes his kicking was excellent. Didn’t realise he was 27.
  16. Need to be at least 4+ goals ahead at 3/4 time
  17. Actually will try to see Mascitti for the hawks. I thought he was a later draft pick or rookie pick. Impressed in some games for Port Melbourne and I think he is one to watch again this year. Strong and skilled utility. Plays like our Vandenburg.
  18. There is a very good top 20 this year and then the talent pool spreads out. 2nd round picks will probably be selected on a needs basis. Mitch Martin is one player who the Dees should be watching out for in the pick 22-28 range. Hopefully no more priority picks given out by the AFL. Giants will again get a steal in Thomas Green.
  19. Not the player we need. May Frost Lever Hore are enough as key back and taller defenders. Need midfield pace and run.
  20. $$$$$Scully wasn’t traded. He was poached.
  21. 12 players unavailable this week. Levers bruised knee will mean 3-4 weeks out. Garlett probably now end of career at red and blue. Vandenburg and Smith are virtually confirmed as out of the year. Will both miss all of 2019 Kk gone for 2019. Potential career ending imo as he is approaching dangerous level of number of concussions.
  22. I agree. Injuries have killed 2019
  23. No one at Casey demanding a game. Maybe Lewis but he is just about cooked. I am hoping Dunkley steps up and gets promoted before the end of 2019.
  24. JWagner and Petty will be back at Casey next week.
