I went to the combine testing on Friday. Some really impressed but I was surprised by how many young guns did not test. Some very good talent injured or unavailable. Maybe a few sliders perhaps for the Dees. Andrew Brayshaw is top 10 material. Nathan Murphy will be top 25. Trent Mynott is a pick 50+ type that impressed. Good pace and agile smart ... potential half back wing.

No comparison. Jakovich was a 2 year phenomenon and his back/body was struggling. For other MFC fan favourites Woey was pushed out around money The Wiz went home to WA But losing Watts on the verge of our success is hard to digest for the vast majority of supporters. He wants to stay!! Very rare to find clubs kick out players with 2 years to run on contracts and they want to stay. And he is in best 22 definitely

Andrew Brayshaw testing very very well. His second half of the year was superb. Top 10-12 pick. If only we could welcome him but I fear highly highly unlikely.

I thought McCartney and Goodwin said Watts was stuck in a rut, then too inconsistent and then off field example and training were poor. Now not up to 150+ game standard. We would be lucky to get a 4th round pick with all these issues. How can they talk him down then expect trade value pick at 20-25. Strange.

Roos was class. He knew how to get the best out of players. He never blamed the players. Goodwin had done it after 1 year. Goodwin was unprofessional. First it was inconsistent play. Then it was Watts was in a rut. I’m not slamming anyone else. Get the facts. Is it now training standards and example setting? Ok then it’s a third reason trotted out. Or maybe free up salary cap room for Lever?
