2019 List Changes
It’s rather early but (imo) possibles Garlett Jkh Vandenburg (if he cannot comeback from his injury) Chandler (r) gone Maynard Lewis (retired) I think 5 spots is max off the list. We just need to get injured players reduced

CHANGES: Rd 11 vs Adelaide
Omcd only in because Lever is not quite ready to go. Petty also needs more time to develop and another year in the gym.

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND KYLE DUNKLEY
A good addition. He is a good ball winner and smart user. Handy old fashioned determined footballer. Not quick. Not really skilled. These will be through the end of year draft.
-
CHANGES: Rd 11 vs Adelaide
I don’t know how Omcd still gets a game. He was slow. Outmuscled. Indecisive. Made to look so substandard. AGAIN
-
CHANGES: Rd 11 vs Adelaide
Fritsch might stay in BUT needs to play forward or on a wing. He’s not a backline player.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO
Too small. Too slow. Lacks competitive intensity. Missed tackles. Kicking ineffective. Has the brain for footy but not the elite weapons required for a man of his size. A good vfl or country footballer. We Bypassed Charlie Constable which is looking like a big mistake.

Jake Lever - Suspected Ankle Injury
Agree. Relax. One more week off. Back in Queens Birthday
-
Billy Stretch Appreciation Thread
Agree. When he tries to finesse, it comes unstuck. Surely the coaches know his strengths and his weaknesses and advise. If we can see it...

POSTGAME: Rd 10 vs GWS
I’m just so gutted post game. Watched the game on the tv. I was feeling crook before the game. Worse after the game.

My 3 word player analysis V GWS
Agree. Viney and Frost were ok. But yes 12+ players were shockers
-
Demonland POTY - Round 10
From the Tv. 6-Gawn 5- Hore stretching it now 4- Viney (just needs to tidy up disposal) 3- J Wagner (He might prove me wrong) stretching it even further ie struggling 2- Baker (I really like his style of play) 1- Frost ... because lots of others were passengers 16 others - 4 ok and 12 absolutely need to look in the mirror (Brayshaw and Petracca are really really disappointing me this year)

PREGAME: Rd 10 vs GWS Giants
Agree. If we can’t stop Cameron, it could get ugly. Frost is the only one quick enough. But I’ll be nervous every time!!
-
Brad Scott sacked
Agree. He would be a good assistant coach in 2020.
-
The 2019 Mid Season Draft
Riordan is a very good young player. Now he’s fully fit he has shown he is definitely AFL quality. But Hirst is more likely if we stay with a youngster.
-
Williamstown v Casey Demons - Round 8
What’s the odds Lewis playing for Casey. About 30% likely imo.
-
PREGAME: Rd 10 vs GWS Giants
I had Preuss in as a certainty to combat Mumford. Hmmm when would you play both Preuss and Gawn.
-
Williamstown v Casey Demons - Round 8
Sparrow rested?
-
Williamstown v Casey Demons - Round 8
Hope to see Lever, Hannan and Jkh back. All will be on managed minutes. Lever probably to play 3/4 qtrs at least.
-
Injury List - Season 2019
Cavalry is on the horizon. I agree. Whilst unlikely... If we roll the Giants, it’s still game on. The bonus has been games for Hore Lockhart Petty Baker CWagner Keilty.

Oskar's debut - What a speech!
It must be a special moment to make your AFL debut. But Oskar’s story to fulfill his promise to his mum is something very very special. His fathers speech was so emotional. Good luck OB. You are a great young man.

2019 Indigenous Guernsey
Outstanding. I’ve just ordered one for my son. Also voted on the AFL website though that’s just really who has the most supporters.
-
Casey Demons v Port Melbourne - Round 7
Lever getting through was the main plus.

The 2019 Mid Season Draft
Cody Hirst or Mitch Riordan. Both were top 30 draft prospects from 2018 but had a year wrecked by injury and missed out. Probably they’ll spend the rest of the year at Casey in development. Hirst is preferred. Corey Gault remains an option as a strong tall forward given Weideman seems to have stalled and Tim Smith yet to put up his hand.
