GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Richmond
We kicked 3 goals from 32 inside 50s. Kicked 3 goals from 17 shots. That’s f@$)$sd.

GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Richmond
It shows you the importance of goalkicking. Players are professional and train or play 6 days a week but in general goalkicking is getting worse!!!

GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Richmond
It’s like we put money on the tigers. We dominated and yet missed so many easy shots.

GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Richmond
ANB back to 2020 form. Having a shocker !!!

GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Nibbler. Kozzzy. Brown. Spargo. Oliver. Gawn. All gettable. We should be 6 goals up.

GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Richmond
32 inside 50s. 3 goals. Dominated but were sloppy and stupid in front of goal. Win or lose… this has been a “Neeld” like display

2022 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Jaxon Binns (From Berwick) and another youngster Mitch Szybkowski (Beaconsfield) were part of MFC junior AFL Under15s academy a few years ago. They progressed through Stingrays program. Both were very impressive in last weeks Stingrays game. Finn Emile-Brennan is the young gun in our zone Next Generation Academy program.

NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
Himmelberg. Seriously always seems to chose the wrong option or stuff up a certain goal. Giants should cut him loose in my view.

Tom Scully
Hope this “TS” is not as greedy as his namesake TS$$$

Farewell Luke Jackson
Jacko - here’s a $3.0M deal over 4 years - that’s a huge deal for a 20-21 year old. Good coin imv. Eagles can get f&$%#d.
-
2022 Free Kick Differential
Cotchin kicks Selwood - nothing Hawkins clearly fakes a push in the back - nothing Hawkins clearly pushes Harris Andrew’s in the back - nothing and Brad Scott wants people to understand the dissent rule. Get the other clear cut rules sorted imv.

2022 Free Kick Differential
He’s a FLOP TO “fall, move, or hang in a loose and ungainly way”

2022 NAB AFL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
Something we used to be really interested in and desperate to find future stars for the Dees to draft. But now we leave it to the Kangas, Hawks, Bombers and Pies supporters to worry about. Now it’s merely a passing interest for the Dees. We have our stars and can look to JT to weave more magic. Hallelujah!!!

TEAMS: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Likely ins. Brown Dunstan J.Smith outs. Weid (omitted unlucky) Viney & Lever H&S. I think we got Dunstan for this exact reason. He provides immediate walk in cover for if / when Viney, Trac or oliver are rested or unavailable. Not at their lofty standards but he delivers contested footy and experience. Sparrow also gets more minutes in Centre rotation. hunt may j.smith Bowey petty rivers Brayshaw Dunstan Langdon Anb Tmcd Spargo pickett brown Fritsch gawn Trac oliver Jackson sparrow Harmes Jordon medi sub Bedford emerg. Melksham Tomlinson Weideman

2022 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Jaxon Binns is a Berwick lad who has impressed in the early games with the Stingrays. Outside mid with good skills and pace. Was part of Melbourne Academy as a youngster.

The next Coundrum... Bowey, Salem, Brayshaw, Hunt, Jordon and Hibberd
Good call DD36. I think Goody has been a fan of Hibbo and backs him in. Agree he’s lost a yard of pace but his experience and positioning is his strength. For all of us, it’s amazing to think we have strength and cover and developing youngsters across all our positions. What a change 😊😊😊😊😊

The next Coundrum... Bowey, Salem, Brayshaw, Hunt, Jordon and Hibberd
Hibberd May Lever Bowey Petty Salem int. Rivers Cover: Hunt, Tomlinson Brayshaw back to midfield/wing premiership formation Jordon to the interchange (Jackson, Rivers, Harmes, Jordon) Hibbo’s final year and Hunt has shown he can fit into this role. Hunt was very good v Giants and managed small defensive role.

2022 Free Kick Differential
Umps again were poor in game v Giants not only due to the [censored] count but the ridiculous 50 metre penalties. So that’s 18-24 count against us last night. It was 14-23 within 6 minutes to go. That’s 4 out of 5 games we are behind the free kick count.
-
POSTGAME: Rd 05 vs GWS
I agree Petty was very good. Great to see him back. Stats don’t backup his value to command the back half alongside May and Lever. Whilst he’s still young, he also calls out to others to cover space. His spoils and physical contests immobilized the Giants forwards. Great to have him signed up longer term to 2025

Low Attendance
Port actually have a supporter base and contribute to the crowd. From what I saw in the tv, decent representation from port in the crowd so probably 25000 blues and 8000 port fans. That’s not an amazing blues supporter effort either.

CASEY: Rd 04 vs Coburg
Bedford and Tomlinson clearly too good for this level. Unfortunate for both to be not getting AFL matches but cannot fault our tall defenders and small forwards right now.

The very, very contentious 50 for Dissent Rule
Watched the replay. 3rd qtr. Hill slips into Levers arm. Lever puts his hands on his head. May does a very quick shake of the head and is confused why it’s 50. Oliver is seen to slightly raise his hands in a somewhat questioning manner. “50. Umpire dissent” . Umpire 9 Stevic proclaims. In Summary - Matt Stevic is a tool. That happened countless other times by both sides last night and again today in Blues v Port but no penalty. Dissent should be saved for actually persistent questioning verbally or through an excessive physical remonstrating action. Stevic got it wrong again.

My 3 word player analysis v GWS
Spargo - “best game ever” Dees - “fantastic team effort” Goalkicking accuracy - “key to success”. umpire 34 - “suburban footy beckons “ 50- metre dissent rule - “a farrrrken joke”
