  1. Listened to this again this afternoon. I think being confident and in the right mindset is vital in elite sport. Goody also showed a human side and connection not just with the footy aspects but his own self. Very refreshing and engaging. Again a very good 30 minutes listening particularly as Reigning Premiers. ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปโค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™
  2. That Best 22 looks Premiership quality ๐Ÿ†โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™ Casey depth squad is a good balance between depth and development. Guys like Hunt, Tomlinson, Dunstan, Weideman, Jordon and Melksham will be putting their best case to get in the team. That drives the best in all. I would also expect Laurie to get a debut in 2022 if he stays healthy. Very smart skilled youngster.
  3. Lock it in. I like the reasoning and connections where possible.
  4. Spot on. #45 would be perfect. Wheels as his mentor.
  5. Thanks. Itโ€™s a very good article. Max is a legend ๐Ÿ† Definitely going to get Maxโ€™s book. On the must read list.
  6. Jed Hagan looked good in the WA team as an under ager player. And heโ€™s from East Freo โ€ฆ the Dees new feeder club. ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†. He is potentially one to watch out for in 2022.
  7. Prediction: next year will be โ€œunpredictableโ€. Like in 2020 and 2021. Disruption, change and unpredictability. Perhaps the one true call out is Clayton Oliver for the Brownlow in 2022. Heโ€™s one of our very best ever to wear the red and blue. A champion no doubt. Bailey Laurie to debut Luke Dunstan to get at least one best on ground & 3 Brownlow votes Ben Brown to kick more than 50 goals
  8. Thatโ€™s really disappointing He was a quality young player. Showed good form in the limited Casey games in 2021. Was hoping to see him in a full year. Very evasive type, nice skills and good goalkicker. Probably thought he wasnโ€™t guaranteed any game time at Casey.
  9. Taj. Welcome to the Dees. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ†โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™
  10. AMW โ€ฆ Welcome aboard to the Melbourne Footy Club ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปโค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™
  11. Sir Jason Taylor , Lord of Demonland. Earl of the Draft.
  12. Pick 65. Melbourne. Father son nomination. Taj Woewodin fantastic news !!!
  13. Yes thereโ€™s a few $$$ splashing around in Qld AFL for young blokes. Not a bad move given Casey CANNOT GUARANTEE HIM ANY GAME TIME. Itโ€™s frustrating for blokes and they seek games at Frankston etc that are not aligned or go interstate.
  14. Agree. JT is a draft strategy zen master. Gets us two great youngsters and then back into 2022 for future drafting strategy and moves. He just nailed it AGAIN.
  15. Yes called this out earlier. Smart move. JT is a zen master. No doubt.
  16. Howes. Pick 39. A great result. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
  17. Itโ€™s Blake Howes. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐ŸปThat is a great result
  18. Itโ€™s Shifter Spotlight. Maybe go through the picks then let him do a post review. Young blokes must be so anxious.
  19. Blake Howes? Are we still a chance ??
  20. I think Dees will be in the phone looking to package up to get a 31-32 draft pick or also considering trading out pick 42 to get a future 2022 pick
  21. MFC now look to have picks 38 and 42 albeit this is amended up and down by potential NGAs and zoning or even we might package up to get to pick 31 off the Eagles potentially or the Cats pick 32. Certainly some bargain sliders available in Johnson, Howes, Butler, Sonsie, Draper or Goater. Then there is the predicted 2nd round core group of Knevitt, Conway, Zac Taylor & Bazzo. NGAs and zoning inclusions likely to be matched include Motlop, Owens, Windhager and Fahey. That could stretch out the round. who might be availableโ€ฆ Hopefully (but unlikely) Connor Macdonald slides down to our next pick or we package up to get him earlier up the board. Heโ€™s a good running outside mid and would be a handy addition. Others in the frame could be midfielder Corey Warner for his strong competitor nature or half fwd Judson Clarke for his goalkicking and pace. Wagner would add to our East Freo connection. Indeed JT might have a Smokey in the pack. Itโ€™s unlikely to be another key back or forward but you never know. pick 42 - if donโ€™t package or trade it out into 2022, could be used on Charlie Molan (competitor, wing half back type) Lewis Rayson (skilled left foot mid-defender) or Isaac Birt (goalkicking wingman).
  22. Graeme Molloy. Wow. Thatโ€™s going back. Probably Watts comparison not quite right. Perhaps a young Neitz ๐Ÿคžtype (as good forward as back) or as a modern comparison perhaps heโ€™s similar to Oscar Allen at the Eagles. I agree his versatility and ability in the air and on the ground is a good blend and we can give him time to develop. Another strategic JT pick ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
  23. SELECT Premiership cards. Ordered 6/oct. amazingly got text yesterday to say they are packed and for delivery 29/ nov ๐Ÿคž I had forgotten that Iโ€™d ordered them !!!!!
  24. Some sliders past round 1 - Johnson, Howes, Sonsie, Butler, Draper and Goater. Some bargains there. Predicted 2nd rounders like Zac Taylor, Bazzo, Knevitt and Conway should also go in the next round by the early-mid 30s. Hopefully (but at long odds) Connor Macdonald falls to our next pick. Highly skilled running midfielder would be another great addition.
