  1. Shhhhhhhhh. I was hoping to keep the Mac A under wraps but his bio builds week on week. It would be just more of a curse if he was a top 20 pick and MFC misses on the NGA silver platter concession.
  2. Vanders has played 47 games in 6 years. 19 games in the last 4 years. Injuries have really hurt his potential as a tough skilled half forward-mid. But I remain hopeful that this year, he might be valuable come the second half of the year. He definitely brings higher physical edge to the team when he’s in the team.
  3. I’d offer a 5 year deal. That’s a win win for the club and for Trac. Any longer is stretching the relationship imo.
  4. Baker might travel with the team to Hobart
  5. Yes they will come for him in my opinion. They have no key forwards aside from Mihocek. He’d be tempted in my view if he stays out of the Dees team for much longer. What would we get? I’m not interested in any of their players aside from young Macrae.
  6. Yes agree on Sam Fisher. Any idea why he has been passed up ? I think he has the ability and endurance and skills and physical ability to make it in the AFL.
  7. Hypothetical question. Nonetheless its a complete NO from me.
  8. Bailey Rogers is simply too good for the WAFL now. Half back/wing runner with excellent skills. At 24yo, he is ready to play if required. If we had Hunt or Langdon unavailable, we need another fast runner to transition the footy. This is the Demons year.
  9. It’s a joke. He stood up against the cheap shots that the Tigers pulled when losing. Tigers liked a few short elbows and punches in the clinches or after a contest. Kozzzy does not take that [censored]. That’s the story.
  10. Probably keep two players out. One for the medical sub and one emergency.
  11. Agree Melksham could be squeezed out. It’s a tough problem but also a very nice problem to have. Who to leave out? Shows we are on song all over the field.
  12. Yes watched the whole game and absolutely loved it. Saw Jordon do the small things and could not find fault in his game. Indeed didn’t see much wrong with any of the group. Apart from resting Jonesy, I really couldn’t find anyone to make room for Ben Brown. Given Jonesy just played 300th, didn’t necessarily look to rest him. Thought we might rest Jordon for this one v Kangas , as he has been good but looking at balance and long year, the youngster could do with a break. It’s an opinion so did not need a vitriolic response.
  13. Dees need to smash them. Need to be ruthless and shut up these stinkin Kangas rabble. They gave us some real hidings and we need to just hammer them.
  14. I love the fact that the hunger to work off the ball is proving it’s value this year. Sometimes the most important work is done when you don’t have the footy. Run. Get back. Pickup opponents. I think burgo has done a great job to get our players physically ready for 4 quarters. The work of Hunt and Langdon has really impressed in the first six games. I’d definitely put workrate as one of the ten reasons for our 6-0 start.
  15. It’s getting a tough call given he’s hardly on the park. Looked shaky last year when given chances. Agree often too good for VFL and perhaps won’t get his body right for AFL.
  16. I think 2019 was the icing on the cake. Big wins in Hibberd, Melksham, Lever, May, Tomlinson and Langdon through trades imo have been monster wins too. And Ben Brown could be the missing piece.
  17. Have to win it. Previous demons teams have “relaxed” against such opposition and paid the price with a defeat. Dees NEED TO BE RUTHLESS
  18. Harmes Lockhart Mitch-Brown Laurie J.Smith * Hore * Nietschke had 36 to choose from
  19. In. Ben Brown out. Jordon sub. Jordon
  20. I agree. ANB played a key role on Saturday night. His goal in the second quarter was team lifting. Big improver this year.
  21. Spargo is the type that will rotate across half forward and the bench or be deployed as needed.
  22. Love the 2nd efforts. Huge upside as a ruckman and midfielder. Absolutely a huge weapon with Gawn that will destroy other teams. Obviously he still needs the development work on kicking, marking, and footy intelligence. At 19, he has the time. Just need to keep him away from the Dockers and Eagles.
  23. Gil mc-laugh-lan said they could have Kangas play Dees on a Wednesday in between round 11 and 12 in Cairns. Gil said he’d hope for a wet night to really screw the demons over, just like last year !!
  24. Must win it this year. It’s our year. We must have the BELIEF
  25. Agree. They will keep it as per normal and restrict Kangas players movements in WA and on return. Hotel quarantine in an IBIS HOTEL for Kangas ??????
