Agreed. 6/10 in the draft. I had Will Hamill (Crows) and Bailey Williams (Eagles) as highly rated youngsters , both from the Dandenong Stingrays. Hamill has suffered injury concerns yet shown his ability when fit. Williams is developing into a good young ruckman now. Not surprised we picked Sparrow but was when we called out JJ.

I think Dees will a) try to use the two third round picks in a package points type deal to push up and get another pick in the 2nd round. b) trade out the 2025 future 1st round to get a 2024 first round. Maybe with the Suns who have a few picks to attract. Aim is to look to get access to 2 x high quality mids such as Lindsay and Moraes.

I agree. I think he’s a very good player and would be drafted around pick 15-20 if available. Maybe the Blues are watering down the expectations and the points they will need to use.
