  2. Dees might have to ask the afl for a please explain. Percentage counts !!!
  3. Best players Jayden Hunt Tim Kelly Grundy Fritsch Hunter
  4. 1st half not pretty. clangers and clangers and clangers ugly. really ugly. Fritsch 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
  5. Freo heave ho Freo go low Freo heave no Freo heave ho Freo sinks low Freo heave ho 🤣🤣🤣
  6. Agree on the night around the ground but two decisions in the last quarter presented Port with 7th and 8th goals. Both were hardly there.
  7. Saints v Suns 1. Saints on a roll v bottom half teams. But they’re impressive so far even without Steele and others 2. Suns. Horrendous. Ben King. Marshmallow. Rowell. Looks lost. Dew must be on his last chance. 3. Mitchito Owens has the energy and desire missing in the Suns. Another NGA steal. 4. Noah Anderson is a star. Tried and tried. Ned Moyle and Bailey Humphrey on debut showed hard edge and determination. Others failed to support. 5. umps failed twice to notice Saints clearly running in the protected zone. Clearly. One of the bizarre AFL rules that’s totally inconsistent across every game.
  8. Swans v Port 1. Ollie Florent. You are a star. Great game. Love your run and skill. But you’ve got to kick the distance to win it. 2. umps somehow got Port back in it. 3. Franklin on his last legs surely. Sad to see him goalless and benign. 4. Allir Allir. The last gasp save. How the story goes!?! 5. Duursma and Butters. Love to see them in red and blue. We were super keen on both but not in the draft to grab them.
  9. Touk Miller. Love his determination but so wasteful and turnovers killing his team. No look kicks or handballs are surprising for a player of his experience. Noah Anderson. Such a star wasted in this Suns outfit. Dill McLaughlin decision to gift Rowell & Anderson has killed this kid.
  10. Heart and desire Mitchito Owens. Yes and yes. Like his aggressive approach Ben King. No and no. He looks disinterested and lacks any 2nd effort or defensive understanding. No heart right now.
  11. Kangas v Blues 1. Carlton rely on Curnow and McKay. But they are seriously very good. 2. Kangas youngsters are impressive. Simpkin, Sheezel, LDU and they’ll add Wardlaw in next few weeks. 3. Kangas poor goalkicking and Larkeys injury hurt their chances. 4. Blues need Sam Walsh in. He’s run was missed and he will be a key to their premiership chances 5. Umpires in 3rd quarter were horribly favouring Carlton. It killed North to see Blues get so many frees whilst they didn’t get one for the last 20 minutes in the 3rd. Best comment about the umps. No comment.
  12. Lions v Magpies 1. Lions very very hard to beat at home 2. Magpies lack of a ruckman is a weakness to exploit 3. Magpies goalkicking accuracy in 2022 was amazing. In round 3 & 4 it’s been woeful. 4. Nick Daicos seriously must be favourite for the Brownlow 5. Charlie Cameron loves it when the Lions are front runners
  13. Looking now at the depleted Eagles squad. Likely danger if any is Darling and Allen up forward. Both have showed proven goalkicking ability. Though May and Petty should be more than capable to cover them. Yeo, Kelly and Gaff are stars but seem to have lost their edge over last 12 months. Dees should control the midfield and win by 5+ goals.
  14. I like JJ and disappointing to see him dropped again this week. He might get the sub spot and they should have Melksham play at Casey this week. It’s simply that JJ is unlucky given others have cemented a spot ahead of him. With Hunter coming in, it means he’s squeezed out of the midfield role. It would be a shame if JJ saw better opportunities elsewhere , and like Bedford, others may see him as gettable.

  16. Definitely have Darcy Wilson in top 20 - probably around 15 on this list. His pace and evasive skills as a mid would be a nice addition to the red and blue.
  17. In. Tmcd Pickett outs. Mcvee Bbb (inj) Melksham Mcvee as sub.
  18. Satisfactory effort this week

  20. 6 - Oliver 5- Grundy 4- Langdon 3- Petracca 2- Rivers 1- JVR Apologies to Hunter, Chandler, Lever, JJ and about 9 others.
  21. Really pleased to see good mix of Dees AFL listed group and Casey players. With an 11/11 combo this week , lots of good signs from youngsters at Casey. Sheridan looked like he’s going to be a good addition.
  22. Need to make a statement today. 2022 finals loss needs some revenge. Big test today to see how we have learned against a team that plays on the rebound with pace. Goodwin cannot allow Mills to be a quarterback and rack up possessions and set up attacks. Clearances will be vital. We lost out to them as Parker and Rowbottom smashed us last year. Go Dees !
  23.
