The AFL setup a Friday night blockbuster in the fixture. Round 24. Dees v Pies. Now it’s effectively a dead rubber. Only our pride and our rivalry on the line. We want to win. I think we need to win. Some small revenge. We want to beat them no matter where or why or what is at stake !!!!

Not sure we have again identified the pies super power over us. Pace. They run through the midfield and we lack pace. The addition of Laurie hardly benefits us in this area. Daicos brothers. Crisp. Quaynor. Love to run it through the corridor. Pies have a one tall-five small forward setup. Hill, McCreeery, Elliott, Schulz. We have Tommo, Tmcd, Lever, Hore, Howes. McVee has to play back.

Sestan is 50/50. I agree only the internal footy staff know what he’s capable of. He has good footy IQ and showed some extra run in 3-4 games. However in other games, he went missing. Wait and see!!

Weight unknown. Competes in ruck and works as a ruck rover all over the field. Bennett was a true full forward. Would love to have a player like him right now. We really enjoyed the last qtr comeback v bombers at windy hill. Ricky Jackson and Bennett were the match winners.
