3rd qtr headlines Buddy inspires Swans goal assault Spirit of the Bloods flattens insipid Dees Dees show little fight as Swans pile on goals Saints say “WTF Dees” Trac inspirational goal lifts Dees Kozzzy late one gives Dees hope
-
Petracca. Captain fumbles. That’s around 6 fumbles.
-
Trac and Clarry. Top 5 best players in the league ???? Time to stand up
-
Kozzy. Lift now. He’s looking half hearted
-
Gawn ???? Hitout!! Putting it back to the goals. Brain fade surely. It was so stupid.

AMW - he’s a player. Like to see him given the chance soon. 1st final ?!?! for his debut ?!?!?! -
CASEY: Wild Card vs North Melbourne

Agree. He’s a ruckman. Anyone suggesting we still turn him into a forward is joking !! He’s a quality backup to big Maxy but is likely to look at offers elsewhere imv. -
Darcy - [censored] off - show some impartial comments for once free for JVR was ruck infringement where Swans ruck decided not to contest but simply jump and look at JVR and push him with both arms !! Really not contesting the footy
-
Half time Just not quite taking our chances inside 50 ✅✅ Gawn. Brayshaw. Fritsch. Melksham (loved that mark and goal) 🤯🤯Salem. 🤯Kozzzy 🤔Turner some good and some not good Strstegy - defensive…2 or 3 behind the ball and two down at stoppage but we’re winning clearances !!!
-
Tex Walker Charlie Curnow Nick Larkey I would love the Dees to have such a goalkicking key forward.
-
Yes agree. Laurie was more in the “looking for opportunities elsewhere” category . I think he stays. He showed his skills and footy ability in 2nd half v hawks and was unlucky to be omitted imv.

Kangas will win !!!

Death Riding Fremantle 2023 - Feathered Cap Edition
spirit of norm smith replied to adonski's topic in Melbourne Demons
Suns would have to be the softest team in the league. From leading Kangas by 28 points up to now down by 5 goals. Wow Hardwick was thinking his new job is Xmas … he might be challenged !! His best toys are soft toys!!! -
Agree. Futures to be considered for fringe or older players … Dunstan, Laurie, Hibberd, BBB, Melksham,TMac, Tommo, Harmes, Grundy and Jordon. Can’t see all going but probably half of this group will be traded, delisted or seek better opportunities elsewhere

CASEY: Wild Card vs North Melbourne

Demons by 30 points… if they kick straight!!!!! -
Agreed. Trac needs a BOG desperately this week. I still have N Daicos as my favourite followed by Butters, Bont, Neale (umps love him) and Trac. Trac has tailed off in the last 3 weeks since the Crows and Tigers games, and probably has failed to vote (v Roos v blues vHawks). I’d have loved to see him get 5-6 votes in these games to catch/pass Daicos. The irony is of course that if Dees beat Blues from Tracs match winning goal, then he might have snagged a vote or two !!!

Surely all the clubs chasing Ben Mckay would also have Adam Tomlinson on their list. Goodwin has virtually told Tommo to go as he’s been dropped again. Played a good game and fits in to allow Lever to intercept. It worked well v hawks but I think Tommo card is marked as “leave”. Bombers and Swans are most likely, or perhaps even the Hawks. Whoever misses on Mckay might seek Tommo as a 2023 3rd round or future 3rd round pick swap 🤯

Welcome to Demonland Kynan Brown
spirit of norm smith replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
He’s small and skinny and kicks it about 30 metres. But his heart is huge. Tenacious. Determination. Hard working. They are the words used to describe his style of play. I’d like to use a pick in 4th round or rookie pick if we can. Definitely like to see him given the chance. He’s got the heart to make it. -
@Gawndy the Great wow that would be Xmas. Not sure I’d work out but never say never. Tim Lamb would be a magician’s magician to conjure that.

The Trent Rivers appreciation thread
spirit of norm smith replied to Nascent's topic in Melbourne Demons
What I really like about the Riv, is ❤️he’s thirst for the contest and intensity. ❤️ his run and run and carry. ❤️his Second efforts. ❤️He’s a Good mark. ❤️He’s a Good kick long and short. Definitely one of the first picked now and likely will be in top 5-8 range imv for the B&F. -
I’m sure Grundy will get offers. Maybe we can turn what we get into a potent package with Freo to get Liam Henry (?!?!) if he’s interested.
