“Christian will be part of this footy club for the next five years,” Goodwin declared in his post-match press conference. I went to bed on Friday night and slept soundly. Now I feel insomnia creeping back into my life !!!

For the record - I hope Trac 💙❤️💙❤️stays. Really hope they sort out his issues and he sorts out his issues. Life’s not perfect. I am not always agreeing with my employers decisions or their work place decor - Trac signed a 7 year contract. You have to think that’s a commitment. Serious $$$ too. Unless there’s breach of contract conditions by MFC, then he should fulfill his commitments - MFC needs to stand firm. We cannot have contracts being torn up and players walking away TRAC - keep the faith 🙏🏽 but if it’s completely toxic and Trac is destroying wider team culture and values … then … what’s the trade price (Trac is 28) 1. JEREMY CAMERON (out of contract - restricted free agent) 27yo Cats got: Cameron as well as two second-round selections Giants got: Picks 13, 15, 20 and a future fourth rounder (Giants matched his free agency). 2. LANCE FRANKLIN (out of contract) 26 yo Hawks: got a first round draft selection as compensation (number 19) 3. GARY ABLETT JNR (out of contract) 26yo Cats received two first-round picks as compensation for losing Ablett to the expansion club. That was probably under weight for his ability

Wacky Wednesday!!! Should be interesting if Trac turns up. I hope he respects his teammates and enjoys the day. Politics aside. All teammates should attend.

Jordan De Goey
I know this gif was banned and I’ve resisted for 2 years … but the thought of trading Trac for DEGOEY no no no

Welcome to Demonland: Bayley Fritsch
💙❤️💙❤️we love the Frittata 💙❤️💙❤️ the hair the smooth left foot the forward craft his 2021 premiership heroics 149 games 252 goals but but but he’s got to also do the hard things in footy tackle chase your opponent, really chase don’t guard grass, man up he’s above average in many metrics but really poor in the defensive and 1%s

Reading the media (alert, it’s dangerous) I say NO NO NO to any trade. Trac is actually coming across as selfish and a sook. Now seemingly bagging the club who he played in a premiership for. Wants a “big club”. Wants to play in front of “big crowds”. Doesn’t want to go to Casey (ok, that’s fair). Dees have a massive year ahead. We all love ❤️ 💙Trac💙❤️ But if he doesn’t love us and it’s too too painful, then … we might just say thanks 🏆

Welcome to Demonland: Pick 5
Huge question. Firstly speak to Goody to get his thoughts. Listen. Then I’m saying, doesn’t matter who we draft in , the current crop needs to be better. I’m getting the players improving skills over the summer. Running and kicking. Running and kicking. Speed on the footy. Dees were rank 16th for disposal efficiency - ranked 3rd highest in turnovers. Work on contest and clearance too. Not trading pick 5. (Sorry no to any Dan Houston deal). Get picks 25 & 42 for ANB off the crows. Keep 25. Package 42.45,51 & future 4th pick to Suns for pick 20. Have 5, 20,25, 61 in draft ( Three high quality picks 5 Langford/Lalor, 20 Moraes/ Gross/ Hynes, 25 Dattoli/Oliver, and a JT special at 61. Maybe a “best in VFL” at pick 61 as a mature type player to bring in. Also then pickup Noah Yze CAT A father son & Ricky Mentha NGA CAT B in rookie draft ) . Of course the equations all change if the Petracca debacle ends in him leaving.

Welcome to Demonland: Pick 5
Sam Lalor - is a Dusty Martin/Cam Rayner type. Likes physical style of play but also has the skills and decision making to support his top 5 status. Midfield - forward type. Harvey Langford - plays like the Bont. 190cms. Bigger midfielder. Contested ball runner. Can mark forward and hit the scoreboard. Long left foot. Can hit targets but not elite skills. Xavier Lindsay - plays like Josh Kelly. Midfielder/half back. Elite left foot kick. Slightly built but excellent step and evasive skills. Can play inside but likely outside running mid in AFL. Love to see him in red and blue next year.

Yes expect Trac page to hit 500+ if this Demon Disaster event unfolds with Trac traded. Pert. Goodwin. Roffey. All jobs should be under review. To even consider losing your Star icon like Trac would stab through the heart of every Demon supporter. The club is bigger than the individual. But it warrants QUESTIONING OF ALL LEADERS at the club. ps. Memo to Trac. I don’t always agree with my workmates or the direction of my business but I do my job to my best ability every day.

Seriously Trac. The answer is No. You cannot play for Carlton or Collingwood It’s a contract. You cannot just walk away when you don’t like the lukewarm showers or that you get to listen to a full 90 minute podcast on the way to Casey !!! If the Dees fold in this, then they are weak !!

Christian Petracca
Dees need to say. We aren’t trading you. That’s it. Plenty of examples of this and club- player bond being repaired.

TRAC - you want a trade ? NO. NO NO would be the biggest departure since Barassi

2024 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
@Edm “we would have to trade up into 12-15 range for him maybe a trade with Richmond for a future first when they get one of the freo picks? “ Agreed. Bold move but definitely worth it. Tigers might want to smoothe out their picks across this year and next. Giving up a future first is risky but worth it to get a pick around 12-13 this year

Welcome to Demonland: Pick 5
Probably get pick 25 and later pick swap from Crows for the ANB trade It’s a strong draft. I would like to see us try to get 3 picks in top 30.

Delistings 2024
?!!! It’s amazing

Welcome to Demonland: Pick 5
Agree. Lalor at 187cm and Langford at 190cm offer inside footy contests and marking ability.
-
Farewell Alex Neal-Bullen
CROWS LIKELY TO OFFER PICK 25 “pick 25 CROWS - tied to MFC SECOND ROUND PICK” probably Dees ask for at least 25 and 42 for ANB and pick 51 Dees 5, 25, 38, 42, 45 That’s then available to package and get further up the order with GC to trade to get points

JT goes to work with pick 5 👏👏👏

Welcome to Demonland: Harvey Langford
Harvey Langford He trained with the Dees over the 23/24 pre season. Early call as the player most likely for the Dees to pick with pick “5”. Here’s the latest write up from Code Sports Position: Midfielder/forward Height: 190cm Clubs: Dandenong Stingrays/Vic Country Langford’s dominance had been flying under the radar before the national championships, and it continued on the national stage for Vic Country. The strong 190cm midfielder was joint winner of the Larke Medal after an outstanding campaign, averaging 26 disposals, eight score involvements, six clearances, six marks and 130 SuperCoach points. Langford’s contested ball-winning, penetrating left boot, overhead marking and forward half impact stood out throughout a well-rounded championships where he broke games open on a consistent basis. Langford doesn’t need a lot of the ball to have a big say on a game, helping turn the tide for Vic Country in their final game against Vic Metro with a big pack mark and goal. The Mount Martha product’s form in the Coates Talent League has been emphatic, kicking a goal or more in every game and falling below 130 SuperCoach points just once in his 11 matches. He is averaging a formidable 152 per game at that level along with 25 disposals, five clearances, six tackles and has also kicked 14 goals. I added this … Plays like? The Bont

Welcome to Demonland: Pick 5
Pick 5 ***** DO NOT TRADE THIS PICK ***** Will be pick 6 given Lions father son pick Levi Ashcroft should be pick 2 or 3. I think top 4 is clearly Finn O’Sullivan, Jagga Smith, Luke Trainor and Sid Draper. Prime choices are “live pick 5” Harvey Langford, Sam Lalor, Xavier Lindsay or Josh Smillie. (In that order for me)

POSTGAME: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
MFC social media “Let’s finish the Melbourne way. 👊” responses were What slow and can't hit a target? Great plan. 😑💔💙 Insipid. No hardness. No accountability. No determination. No toughness. Who’s our inside mids? Only Jack. He can’t do it all himself. No more JJ Harmes Gus. BIG BIG end of season review is needed.💔💙 With another weak as p!ss performance? Pathetic end Certainly delivered on the 2024 Melbourne way!! That was as disappointing effort as you could imagine💔💔💔💔💔

PODCAST: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
Positives. Gawn. Salem. Tmcd. Chandler. Langdon. All could walk off proudly. Negatives. Missed tackles. Turnovers. Fumbles. Slip overs. No game plan. Umpiring. If I was discussing with Goody 1. Turnovers. Pies beat us in every stat … except for turnovers. Our skills were horrible. And these were not risky kicks to create. Basic kicking errors. 2. Zone defence. Guard grass. What !! Why !! Pies cut us up each time with run and skill. Man up. They destroyed us with uncontested footy. Kick mark kick mark run and overlap. It’s been year after year. 3. Tag N Daicos. It worked previously. But we let him run right from the start. 10 possessions by 20 minutes in first qtr. pies were then 4 goals up. Poor coaching. 4. tell Kozzzy never to bump again. It’s too risky !! there’s a lot more that’s enough for this weeks game
