  1. Crows would demand our first pick for him at least, but geez he'd be worth it, i rate him as good as any other up and coming forward.
  2. I'm surprised the club let him considering the clear hatred he has for us
  3. What do you mean by heading to tan sorry?
  4. I reckon he is overrated, would much rather see us pick up mundy for a couple of years, Goldstein is a free agent this year but we'd have to pay overs to get him
  5. I am really interested in this point, i don't believe Roos is a bloke to see a job half done, but i also don't believe he wants the pressure and such of being a senior coach long term, i reckon Jackon and co should work on him maybe becoming a senior assistant like Craig was to Neeld to his successor
  6. I'm not certain of this so please correct me if i'm wrong but does a certain amount of infraction notices within one team result in a years de-registration, i believe someone told me at one point if there was 10 or more the club would be de-registered for 12 months
  7. I think the game plan is very simple and everyone benifits from that, it's proven to work and to hold up in finals, the players have structure, direction and a role to play, and PJ's work off field has been fantastic the club has already taken genuine steps towards becoming a strong club again and we haven't even played round 1 yet.
  8. It shows the value of early wins, if we could snag wins against Saints and GWS, i know GWS have improved but so have we so we should view them as very winnable games, 2 wins in our first 3 games would be huge for our confidence through the season and could lead to 6-10 wins, although lose those games and we could have another terrible year, these first 3 rounds set the tone
  9. I actually heard today Albury footy club where he comes from there are rumours going around there that Kirk might be the man who takes over from Roos at the end of 2016 understand it's just a rumour i have no idea of his contract status or anything with Freo but i reckon it would be a great result, he knows what a great culture looks like, knows the game plan inside and out and i reckon he has a similar personality to Roos
  10. Article on the AFL website saying a successor will be named by the end of the year, seems like things are working out at this stage
  11. 1.Hawthorn 2.Fremantle 3.Sydney 4.Adelaide 5.North Melbourne 6.Geelong 7.West Coast 8.Richmond 9.Port Adelaide 10.Carlton 11.Collingwood 12.Essendon 13.Gold Coast 14.Melbourne 15.Bulldogs 16.Greater Western Sydney 17.Brisbane 18. Stkilda Carlton or Collingwood miss the 8 and watch the heat turn right up on their coaches.
  12. Hawks look like they could be this years Essendon of 2000
  13. I would literally get naked and run down the street singing it's a grand old flag if Jesse Hogan talks the club up and says contract extension talks have started
  14. Ah didn't realise that, yeah it will be really interesting, i suppose you lose potentially quality AFL players being in your side at times to gain consistency, port Melbourne certainly show it's possibly to be a very competitive team in the VFL without an AFL affiliation
  15. It's abit like that OD, take everything with a grain of salt until they're named in the team.
  16. Little bit surprised Jimmy Toumpas isn't going to be running around with them
  17. Just looking at the picture on the MFC website geez Trenners looks buffed up!
  18. He is really good at playing the second fiddle forward, he runs hard, creates space for the other forwards, and is smart, knows how to drag his opponent out of the play
  19. Surely we will be up in arms demanding his head long before that OD
  20. Nah i agree they will be conservative with both, even if what is said is true i reckon both will be round 2 at best because as you say no use taking a risk
  21. Dave Mission just said that there is a good chance Hogan, Dawes, Jamar, Gawn and Taspcott are a chance to be right for round 1 and Clark and Garland are tracking well, some positive news if it's factual
  22. i didn't think Ratten was a bad coach, not sure how he would go with us.
  23. I reckon watching Chunk and Cross train is a pretty good example, the biggest thing is the mental side of it, losing has become almost acceptable, and close losses are treated like wins because we didn't get flogged, Roosy will be working on sorting all that out
  24. I am certain chip is honestly conflicted, he wants to stay but needs convincing
