  1. To be honest i just thought that was immature on both fronts, if i were in charge of the lions i'd have given them both a serious kick up the bum for that, all of those players if fit were in their best 22 and it's obvious the club contributed to them leaving, clubs that are good to be at find a way to hold onto their interstate players, how many Geelong boys do you see wanting to head home
  2. It will be interesting who goes to him, would have thought Delaney and Bruce were more suited to taller forwards than Howe and Fisher might well miss the game, dempster maybe not sure if he is fit and ready to go
  3. GWS are not easy beats anymore, we are going to have to be right on our game to beat them.
  4. Sorry to go off topic but well done for coming up with this idea Stuie, I reckon it's the meaning of being a Dees supporter to rally behind our own during tough times, and i reckon Mitch will really appreciate the thought!
  5. Roos will have Mitch's best interests at heart, if he feels he won't play again i'm sure they'll have that conversation.
  6. We don't care how long it takes for you to get back Mitch we know how worth the wait you are! in the meantime keep happy, keep revving the boys up, keep working of Chip and Hogan to sign some new contracts so you lads can win a flag together!
  7. I love watching Daniel Pierce and Stephen hill run and hit targets with pin point precision! great to watch, Collingwood don't look top 8 material to me
  8. He has missed the best part of two years, could very easily become three the way it's looking, i think he's in big trouble, which is a shame because he has absolute superstar potential.
  9. Maxwell wouldn't crack a spot in our backline imo, very average player.
  10. for me it's more about stiff competition than anything, they will have to knock off some real quality teams to play finals this year, going to be an extremely even season with a few standouts and a couple of easy beats
  11. Deeply dissapointing about Mitch, one can only imagine how hard it would be going through that, watching his side getting belted every week and knowing he's our best player and can't help
  12. PJ's time at the club would be one of the more significant things in this clubs history, i feel strongly that without his imput this club may well have gone under.
  13. based on his form i have no issue with the contract.
  14. I personally think he's been really impressive, i would say he is a certain starter for round 1 and no reason he couldn't play all year.
  15. we would have a fair idea right now of who is going to be available at the end of the year, it's entirely possible it's already a verbal agreement and not the right time for an announcement
  16. Right now in 2014 Ollie Wines is better than Jimmy Toumpas, may be a totally different story in 2017 but who knows, i rate him and like his chances of being a good player, but that doesn't mean Ollie won't keep getting better either
  17. Crows would demand our first pick for him at least, but geez he'd be worth it, i rate him as good as any other up and coming forward.
  18. I'm surprised the club let him considering the clear hatred he has for us
  19. I reckon he is overrated, would much rather see us pick up mundy for a couple of years, Goldstein is a free agent this year but we'd have to pay overs to get him
  20. I am really interested in this point, i don't believe Roos is a bloke to see a job half done, but i also don't believe he wants the pressure and such of being a senior coach long term, i reckon Jackon and co should work on him maybe becoming a senior assistant like Craig was to Neeld to his successor
  21. I'm not certain of this so please correct me if i'm wrong but does a certain amount of infraction notices within one team result in a years de-registration, i believe someone told me at one point if there was 10 or more the club would be de-registered for 12 months
  22. I think the game plan is very simple and everyone benifits from that, it's proven to work and to hold up in finals, the players have structure, direction and a role to play, and PJ's work off field has been fantastic the club has already taken genuine steps towards becoming a strong club again and we haven't even played round 1 yet.
