New Coach, New Captain?
Incredible story If Turner was the next captain given his pathway into the AFL, he’s had to be patient and now he is one of our better players

Farewell Judd McVee

PRESEASON TRAINING: Monday 8th December 2025
Geez that’s horrible for Bowey given he had a career best year last year! The injury is no joke. They say 6 months but I’d be giving him 12, rebuilding slowly and no risking reoccurrence at all. We’re not likely to be in contention so better to look after one of our really good young players properly

Jason Taylor’s contract
He might be considering retirement? Probably keen to see what his family has been up to

Farewell Judd McVee
I think this is just a little bit the nature of modern footy, guys are going to chase money or go home. He definitely could have handled it better and with a bit more class but he’s young and he will learn. I hope he plays well at freo just not against us

PRESEASON TRAINING: Friday 5th December 2025
It sounds like windosr, Langford, Lindsay and culley are probably all likely to play a lot of midfield this year based on reports. Is that fair?

PRESEASON TRAINING: Friday 5th December 2025
I’m always interested in new coaches and how they approach their early weeks at a club trying to establish their plan. Especially if the coach hasn’t had to do that before! It seems likely it’ll be a bit hit and miss for a while and maybe by the middle of next year we will have it totally nailed down

I would suggest you significantly underrate Alex Neal-Bullen. i mean he was a critical role player in a premiership and became vice captain of a team in premiership contention off the back of one pre-season, so i mean he goes okay. but yeah of course we hope he's the next Jamie Elliot and he kicks 60 goals a season- Welcome to Demonland: Thomas Matthews
the new Nibbler.- Welcome to Demonland: Riley Onley
I’m putting it out there but there are some comparisons with Adam Goodes…. This one feels like a Daniel turner level gem- Still no way forward
Tall forwards are overrated- AFL Draft 2025: Pick 30 (formerly 37)
None apparently. This draft is wild. There has to be some off field concerns or something- AFL Draft 2025: Pick 30 (formerly 37)
If greeves, phillipou or Higgins-hargrave are available I’d have to imagine they’ll be too good to pass up.- The 2025 AFL Draft Thread
I’m amazed he can walk up the stairs to the stage. He’s been in better shape- AFL Draft 2025: Picks 7 & 8
Completely agree, and i think the thing with this draft is it seems to be pretty even and open, i don't think the gap between the first 12 or so prospects is all that big and so getting two of them that we like and we're happy with is a good outcome, and then next year we get 2 more picks again- AFL Draft 2025: Picks 7 & 8
Move over Chris from Camberwell, here comes Nairn from Narrm- PRESEASON TRAINING: Wednesday 19th November 2025
I disagree that it's a "bad investment" on balance i'd say it's a "terrible investment."- PRESEASON TRAINING: Wednesday 19th November 2025
Jai Culley just seems like he's in for a great year.- AFL Draft 2025: Picks 7 & 8
Cal drops his late mail the morning the draft usually correct?- Jason Taylor on AFL Gettable (18.11.2025)
My guess would be the points don't quite align to suit the Blues needs. Ultimately that future first round pick would be compelling but the Blues moving 9 and 11 seems to be more about making sure they have their ducks in a row points wise- AFL Draft 2025: Phantom Drafts
I don't think there will be any trading within the top 10 itself, clubs by this point have done a lot of work and have a pretty good idea who's going to be available. if any trades happen it'll be outside the top 10 to catch someone like Sharp, Schubert or Farrow if they happened to slide a bit.- AFL Draft 2025: Phantom Drafts
Cals strike rate, especially with the first round is pretty incredible. The clubs do seem to have a really good relationship with him and probably it helps everyone to have some idea what the other sides are thinking on balance, i mean obviously if you think you're hiding a hidden gem it's different but that's less likely in the first round than it is on night 2.- AFL Draft 2025: Phantom Drafts
No. But Langford imo would go pick 1 in this draft and Lindsay would probably be top 3. - Welcome to Demonland: Thomas Matthews
