Delistings/trades at end of the season

We would have gone for matt scarenberg at pick 2 if not for the tyson trade -
Adam is an all time great of our game and should be respected us such, i think he can be a bit of a dick at times but so can we all, dual brownlow medalist, two flags, 300 games. People should look at his overall contribution to the game and if they boo, go to the nearest bridge and jump off

We made a massive advance during neelds time and he was very tempted then, despite the losses he and his family are mfc at heart and always have been, he knocked us back becaus were a serious mess off field, now we have a good situation off field and are getting there on field, the talks with dee-on have been going on quite a while now and seemingly progressing well. Seems he's one who takes his footy seriously and perhaps some of his team mates don't, but gcs have been aware of this for a while and i expect this will happen pretty early in trade week, our first round pick imo will be handed over.

The deal with prestia has been in the pipework for quite a while. These things tend to be fairly advanced when purple finds out. -
The kitchen sink has been involved in an activity not unlike being thrown at young dion.

Nah id be on board

Some serious questions asked about Paul Roos ...
Ted Lasso replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
Tim d if you are suggesting nathan jones "doesnt do alot of off field team stuff" you are dead wrong, he has spent hours apon hours working with our young guys outside hours to help them, he's working as hard off field as on. I just think he's a lead by example type not a luke hodge or mathew pavlich inspire and direct team mates on field type. Still clearly the best we have though, for now. -

Honestly i expected 6 wins, obvious signs of player development and our best footy to match it with most teams, its just dissapointing when you beat top 8 sides and lose to bottom 6 sides i guess, don't want to become richmond
-
I expected wed beat the saints and bombers.

I want to see roosy come out and say our boys are on notice, time for them to play for their careers becauss thats what is on the line. -
Alot of times a former coach compliments a new one, macca taught the dogs to defend and play contested footy, bevo has taught them to move the ball and the rest is down to confidence and buy in. Goodwin i reckon will open our game style up when he takes over but roosy needs to get us consistently bringing the contest and effort we did in our wins. The issue i have is moves like garland on roo will do nothing but destroy confidence, even on one leg roo was always going to be way too good

The umpires were close to the most one sided I've ever seen, which doesnt help.

I think what we saw today was different levels of buy in, the saints kids and veterans believe in what richo has in place For us our boys do, in patches but that unquestioned faith in the plan clearly isn't there, the boys turn up thinking a competive effort is good considering where we have come from, it should be win at all costs and buy in or [censored] off, and that includes our leaders like mr dawes. -
At least they don't have a drug problem..

We have improved a lot, in a lot of areas both on and off field, sadly that will be an unpopular opinion.
