I really like the strong focus on development, we have a young core that could develop into a premiership team, we're giving them every chance. Tyson, Viney, Hogan, Brayshaw, Petracca, Salem, Mcdonald, Gawn all look like A graders in the making imo got some good strong B graders and potential B graders around them too exciting times ahead

probably just the way it's played out in my opinion, the best available players haven't been those tall blokes.

I can't believe some of the picks teams are considering giving up for average or unproven players Mcarthey is talented but not worth 2 first rounders. Yarren imo is not worth pick 12

Tom Mitchell struggled to crack the Swans midfield for a couple of years there where he was certainly good enough, Anderson was tipped by a lot of people to take out the rising star this year.

Jed Anderson is in a whole different league to Melksham, Kennedy, Bugg and all those players, if he's on the move and we aren't chasing, he either has some huge issue no one knows about or the recruiters are off sinking pizz under a tree.

I'd say the teams interested are... GCS, Collingwood, Melbourne and Hawthorn I reckon Howe and Watts would both be so much more dangerous in a stronger side.

Throw in Brayshaw and Petracca, Neil Bullen looks to be alright too.. starting to look like a seriously good core of players probably the best young key back and key forward in the comp too Mgoven probably just pips Mcdonald but i'd say Hogan is the best young key forward,

I believe Salem will be a mid in 2016 and will in the not to distant future be our best mid, he's got some serious attributes to be both good on the inside but genuinely dangerous in space as well, reminds me a lot of Luke Hodge

What are we realistically going to be able to get Bugg for? would pick 43 be enough?

Class vs Grunt, Tyson finds space in tight, Viney tries to break through the wall Both I think will be premier midfielders in the comp for a long period of time personally think Christian Salem will be better than both when he transitions to the midfield, best skills at the club, speed, grunt, class in tight, damaging outside as well.

Dion Prestia is still the most gettable big fish, huge MFC connections, right age bracket, and his injury and unwillingness to commit long term forces the suns to consider any offer we might through up, I think the no could turn into a yes very quickly when trade week starts if the club plays it's cards right. I don't buy the Luke Parker rumours at all, he's a rising star of the competition playing at a team that has some good young talent and is consistently playing finals, the only real lure we have for him is we are a Vic side, Roosy is here for one more year and we can offer a bit more money coz they stupidly signed buddy on 3/4 of their salary cap.

If GWS agree to trade Mcarthey they will rightly demand a first round pick and a best 22 player. there is potential that we could get Howe involved in the trade and help get that deal done, hopefully get something decent out of it as well, maybe Adam Tommlinson or pick 16 from freo

I rate Kennedy very highly, he's got pace and good skills, really good footy smarts and a hard edge, he can play on ball or as a very dangerous half forward, get Macca to work on him and we'll see a very good partner for Dean kent in 2016

I wonder if this transition will see Macca move to the coaches box rather than the bench next year?
