Farewell Brodie Grundy
Yeah it's obscure. Grundy is an AA footballer currently on the MFC list. TMac imo is about 2 games away from another career ending injury and Gawn is too old to return from any serious knee / leg injury to any real level. Why get rid of Grundy? It's only a matter of time before they need him or someone like him, and sooner rather than later. Find a way to make it work ffs

Farewell Brodie Grundy
Out injured? This September or next? ps TMac is also likely to be out injured...this game or next.

Farewell Brodie Grundy
It was always a risky decision but dumping him for anything less than a golden opportunity to get a big marking foward( no knocks on the 192 cm JVR competing with Kossi in flying from behind the pack) or a better pick than MFC got him for ( 1st rounder please) would be DUMB..getting even DUMBER. Meanwhile, changing the thread title might be a sensible idea

Jake Melksham Injury
Once I got over his previous Club I have been regular fan on here and the old Ology. As someone noted above...footskills when no one seemed to think them a relevant skill. Certainly not the school children on here

My 3 word player analysis V Sydney Swans
To be precise I included an earlier ,"bang" to set the scene.........gap......"bang bang." Which made it 3 words.to be even more precise I might have needed 5 words . Is that OK with you? .

Jake Melksham Injury
Especially since pretty much most of Land had stopped bagging him and were pretending he was their favourite.

Onya Robbo
I reckon Cornes is good value; he knows exactly what he's doing and that its what he is employed to do. This is SEN after all ..Schwarta was a lovable "duffer" ,not a debate starter. King has created his schtik by pretending games are predictable by stats. Whately seems to think he's doing some sort of post doctoral analysis..of a suburban footy comp and that he can present horse racing as a sport for the intelligentsia!Hes the most colourless "voice of reason" in a colourful sh#t fight. Off SEN you have BT, Robbo and Matty Lloyd....I mean they make Cornes look insightful and entertaining Caro has surrendered her outrage spot to Kane and is quickly becoming irrelevant. As long as Daisy Pearce is doing the gameday comments live to air...they all are exposed as useless boys club "wanna bes:

Damien Hardwick
What should annoy people is that if it was a done deal then it was the way they dumped Dew that was disgraceful. Hardwick quit early enough for the Tigers to get organised fir their big rebuild

What you're saying is that he doesn't play smart enough

My 3 word player analysis V Hawthorn
Hopefully you mean Spargo and he does. Smart player..trade bait

Melbourne Free Agents & Out of Contract Players
Melk is hardly more unreliable than most of the 22 and remains one player who understands that kicks can go high to a pack or low and penetrating towards a target which is a good plan if you are passing it through contested space. I'm surprised few others seem to have noticed

Demons great Depth
A bit tough on Melksham but that is the group think around here. You're correct about BBB and TMac though

Kozzie stage-fright?Â
Nope ,completely different way of influence. I am not comparing quality

Kozzie stage-fright?Â
Cameron ,Dusty and Toby only need three kicks to turn or complete a game.

That's what was said at the end of last season. Goodwin is patient ( for better or worse)

The Run Home
The run home's pretty simple Positions don't really matter much in a season of team equality and upsets; We could mount a case for any two reaching the G/F, but more than ever the team fielding closest to best 22 or carrying fewer injuries will win. In Melbourne's case of course the umpires are likely to be the difference .

Kozzie stage-fright?Â
Arnt we all and, it appears, not the least Kossi himself . He flies for pack marks even when he's not in contention to come soaring over the top,the result bring he isn't at the drop of the ball. Sometimes it also seems he habitually plays for the contested ball capture, the weave, duck and dodge.....goal!! ..rather than the drop of the ball and running clear and delivering .
