  1. So you are saying that 2 sessions are enough to top up on thd skills ,systems and available players they have had 2 seasons to get right and clearly you didn't watch either Brisbane or GWS yesterday. Anyway perhaps they might try and beat Carlton first. Geez there's one eyed and there's denial
  2. All in all its irrelevant beyond the injury to Brayshaw. It's not why Collingwood won or Melbourne lost and and in fact the Pies will be more worried about Brisbane and perhaps even GWS than anything else. Maynard or not I doubt that they are flag favourites any more Toby on Daicos..I'd like to see that

Yeah he'll be out until the appeal, then he'll be back in .
  4. Next season

Dud you not say QF losers were historically likely to win the flag? If you didn't then I apologise, but the fact is they are statistically much more likely not to. Of course with no forward line to speak of and having lost the QF should the Dee's win the flag it would be truly a sporting triumph Anyway as far as stats go the seasons forward 50 entries per half is the most relevant one. Perhaps the only relevant one

Judt a banged up forward line including one of the best bricks in the previous defensive wall ( which was the best in the competition What has rolling over to do with supporters understanding that the unlikeliest victory is exactly that..!! Now the coach and the players...they won't be rolling over...that's relevant. Should they win it will be because of their commitment, not yours

I think you got the " facts" about QF losers wrong

Since " chaos ball" days there has been quite some improvement in the list but what hasn't improved is decision making in the contest, disposal skills or composure across the ground. You can see it down back when Jake is marshalling the " troops" and Petty would know where to go and what to do,but that finishes past the centre square

My guess is that's just wrong But it should be easy to check if anyone thinks it's relevant to a teams future chances

Save some money and jstf up so I can talk to my company or even the bloke I don't know sitting next to me

Maybe he didn't mean to do it..which makes it careless rather than attempted murder. Whatever the penalty is for the boxes he ticked Jack was probably more considered with his wild right hook. What if that had landed? If you wanted outrage wait until the Pies get Maynard off on appeal !!!
  12. That's why a red card and off the ground for 10 minutes makes sense
  13. The best bit about that is that Max can play behind the ball when he's not rucking. It's not as if he's a gun forward himself
  14. Where did this " football act " come from? Was it just last week or have I not been paying attention? Both possibilities are likely( smile)
  15. He's my tip so that you carry on disliking me Guilty careless, severe;2 weeks or whatever the rule says. Appeal because now there is this "football act" invention Overturned on appeal free to play All that is in doubt is whether is a speedy process or it takes to the Thursday before the Prelim
  16. Kossi an almost game Needs to put meat on his obvious talent. " nearly " is getting old

    6 Max 5 Trac 4 Pig 3 Ollie 2 May 1 Nibbler
  18. Now ..the send off rule might indeed need to be revisited. If they had rightly been required to play play one short for 10 minutes then they would have had to change their gameplan and the previously disadvantaged team, having lost a key player may have been able to restructure somewhat and get the game back on even terms. It has always made sense but agreeing on the terms is difficult

Thete was plenty of goal kicking practice early on They all nailed it from 40 to 50 out. Fritsch stayed out in the first rain to get the feel of the ball. They lost their Zen under pressure when the game started and no one was leading the way until Max stepped up just before half time. By then it was just their old chaotic scramble to keep in touch; hardly the way to unsettle a team playing with their noses in front from the first minute of a Prelim..( actually the whole season)
  20. He should be rubbed out for sure but it's not the main story is it. That's how much did we miss Brayshaw and will the Lions do us all a favour and destroy the Pies in the G/F

Brisbane just became flag favourites for mine. Melbourne should chase Ratogalea

Yep both correct but it's true we propped and missed opportunities. How many times did they have manage to have one player running down into the fat side to keep the attack going. Playing with " dare" our Daisy calls it.

What choice did he have? Better set up around marking contests perhaps might have helped. That's coaching and discipline from the smalls.

TMac was no surprise but really they had to pick him . I would have gone with Grundy but then that's not going to happen is it

They didn't dominate at all until the end. They hung on and scrambled to keep in the game at best We're you there ?
