They show every sign of being on their last legs and I'm a fan of both of them. Weid ( of whom I was not a fan)was being used much more suitably to his natural skills by the Bombers on Sunday . If they can get Brown fit and kick on the lead it's problem solved. I doubt it will happen though Part of TMacs history was that he could run up and down the ground as well as stand tall in the middle of a pack. I think the runnings gone.

In general that's what I am used to. The first quarter against the Swans was a show stopper

There has to be a solution to the forward line that doesn't include exposing May Hibberd and Lever to their injury management issues. Max behind the ball down back and Petty continues his synergy with usual defenders.
-
Any more hangers? He could coach Kossi
-
He's playing injured
-
He was telling us all year they were fixing the forward line and they rarely needed to come from behind because they squandered leads. Still waiting

It's Anzac day I believe..we are all for peace, no?
-
The coach is going to address that ..hes told us so a number of times . Otherwise I agree with you. Reason says we are currently making up numbers for the finals. Sort of like a new Footscray

Ok I'll bite. Yes I think that's a good idea and especially that we shouldn't play the national anthem before the corporate Grand Final. I don't actually have a problem with acknowledging Anzac Day at the game itself given its importance in our national story. But I reject the conflation of the game seemingly being promoted as THE recognition of the remembrance. Of course most of the Australian population don't even know who is playing so it's either irrelevant or an extraordinary case of inflated self importance

Those are two completely different things. I mowed the lawn and watched the Pies play like MFC fans can only dream of. Can they trade Kossi for Nick Daicos please
-
Blah blah blah..perhaps the tragedy of nations at war killing their youth should be just left outside of cultural forms of celebration dressed up as a metaphor for memory of humanities madness habit

I lived out at the end of a road on the banks of the Yarra in Kangaroo Ground. A nature reserve. The first settler there was a digger back from WW1 who was a hermit and wanted the peace. Pre nature reserve he planted daffodils which have spread and carpet the bush in a mist un Aussie way but work as calling the regeneration of life each season. My bet is you'd never have got him to join 90 000 [censored] pretending to honour the fallen before a football match, let alone the night before. The Dawn Sevice is something altogether different

2 of those are likely to get in the Dees way for the 8. Take your pick

The question is whether there is a record of actually responding effectively. But if I were the Coach I'd model Ross Lyon and leave everyone confused until we ran out next week with a different line up
-
To say nothing of the injury toll on their lift. Nothing to be optimistic about from that win. As usual Goodwins presser was a pretence of having a " plan". He talked about working on the forward structure for the last half of last season..and did nothing! This season it looks like " structuring" the big men on game day . Chaos to come for sure. Essendon,St.Kilda and Carlton better collapse or the Dee's will miss finals
-
They played him up forward, sans Spargo ,because against the Swans Spargs took a screamer and they were daring him to do the same ( I suppose)

Please please please stay. ..ON THE GROUND

Too kind to... Kossi Howe
-
Mate they ain't superstars even if they are very good. Superstars always give you the goods
-
Seriously grow up! Do you go home and cry when they lose
-
The good game day coaches must love Goodwin
-
Chanting OM? 1 2 3. After me...
-
I think that was Demonland

Trac rarely exits packs , he stands up in tackles and sprays the ball forward kicking off balance
