Our attempt at "zoning " was disgraceful. Protecting grass flat footed doesn't work. You need movement. I thought Neeld was focusing on defence?? The lack of desire from the players was unwatchable. So many players not AFL standard. Neeld stuffed up by picking his recruits instead of players who were in form and showing the fundamentals.

Inate softness can't be cured. He simply has no desire to win and from his own mouth doesn't care about losing. Worst number 1 pick of the decade.

If we end up at Simmonds stadium next week i will be very disappointed. Not a great way to go into round one and it would mean Geelong have had 3 consecutive pre season matches there!

In this day and age i would have though the AFL would provide at least an online video stream of games not televised on foxtel. There would definitely be cameras there. Other than shots on goal its impossible to know how we are playing. Well done sellar.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but I heard an 'amusing' comment from Rohan Connely, speaking on SEN yesterday afternoon, regarding the tanking. While he admits there isn't much concrete evidence against us he thinks some proof that we tanked is the fact that 'we were able to belt Fremantle in round 20' but lose every other game. I'm just finding it very strange how you can now be accused of tanking because you win a game! I'm sorry Rohan that we didn't do as good a job of it as Carlton and Collingwood did a few years earlier and lose the last 10 games of the season.

Correct, I dont care about recognition. I wont be wearing the lapel regardless. I just reckon if they are going to promote it they should do it properly thats all.

Regarding the continuous years of membership recognition, if i can be a bit picky its slightly annoying the way the lapel has been done in 10 year brackets. Im a 15 year member and kind of feel ripped off that a 10 year member gets the same recognition. Ill get over it but thats just my 2 cents worth on the issue.
