In 2010 we were getting better. There are some underlying issues within the playing group that are causing this. They are a disgrace.

I hear what your saying but in reality its hard to shut yourself off form all media broadcasts and outlets in this day and age, unless you live in a dark room 24/7. For starters i should probably frequent these forums less. These are not just rumblings in a gossip column, these are agendas that can bring down football clubs. Hard to not concern yourself with them.

Spot on, the last couple of months have proven this to me. Im slowly changing my outlook. The game is not even really about the footy anymore. Its about uncovering the next scandal and bringing people down. Im over it. Its sad that its round 2 and most of us are already over the season. Not how it should be.

I agree. Its not just the playing group that is unsettled, the coach has not been focussed either. Theres no logical argument to justify a competitive performance. The players have a huge opportunity stand for something here, lets hope they act upon it for once. WC by 120

Thats the problem, it's all good getting tough and dropping a bunch of these duds, but in reality we are replacing rubbish with rubbish. There were numerous times last year when we made mass changes at selection and it made no difference. We seem to be on a hiding to nothing, at least in the short term, as long as we have this list full of selfish average footballers.

Im both Heartbroken and proud today. Its amazing how in hard times being part of a club can help pull you through. Cant underestimate how important the MFC is to myself and many people. "Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there; I did not die". I will always keep this line in my mind when i think of Jim.

I was really disappointed that Foxtel were using the channel seven feed, meaning it had the ch7 commentators and the picture was not in HD, as has been advertised. I assume this will be the case whenever 7 is telecasting a game which is really disappointing.

Thanks for everything big Jim. Im glad I shared a passion with you, the MFC. Youre a great man. A true legend and will be sorely missed by all.

Agree that in hindsight this will be worse than Natainui/Watts for us. I know its blasphemy to say it but Martin will be better than Scully and Trengove i think.

Agree it was great. I predominately use Demonland on my phone and the normal layout is painful.

Agreed. Ball carriers like bail are pretty much obsolete under our new bang it long without looking game plan. The lack of run really worries me. Our skills are abysmal.
