  1. 16k from last year not signed up! what a disgrace.
  2. This is the problem with Demonland, you cant speak your mind with any negativity at all (i thought my post was quite balanced) without being told that your opinion is wrong and that you are pathetic and have no idea.
  3. Leopards don't change their spots unfortunately. Attricious skills and decision making, conditions considered. Haven't seen anything I wanted to see in terms of structure and game plan. The bombing into 50 will not work. Can only hope that was partly due to the weather.
  4. trengove missed last week as well. injured?
  5. A few mentions of Tynan doing good things. Supercoach smokey?
  6. 3:07 Ok ... I am now sitting on the balcony, with the great Neil Craig watching over my shoulder - he's interested in the chat session. He's been great for Melbourne already. Very funny man. Matt. 3:09 Ok, we're about to start ... I'll mention what's happening throughout - so I'll have to hold off on questions for the moment. Thanks for joining me. Here we go ... Matt. 3:09 COO Matt Green has the binoculars next to me - he might help out. 3:09 Siren has sounded - we're under way. 3:11 Bate has the ball and kicks to half-back ... Martin is tackled. Howe made the tackle 3:12 At the moment, the intra-club is very much like a match ... the ball has been thrown in and bounced a few times 3:13 Nicholson with a shaved head sends the ball into attack 3:14 Good hands from Martin and Davey ... Morton now attacking from half-back. Nicholson has started well. 3:15 Moloney won the ball from a Jamar tap and went for a checkside kick - kicks a behind. 3:15 He's on the blue team 3:15 Grimes on Howe, Bate on Moloney, Bail on Nicholson - some of the key midfield match ups so far 3:16 6 mins have played so far 3:16 Couch is now on Bail 3:16 Beamer working hard around stoppages 3:17 First siren - it was actually seven minute term. We might be playing eight sections by seven now ...
  7. From memory Neeld offered to stay yet Malthouse insisteds he leave sao its their own fault.
  8. Thats an interesting point you make. As a matter of fact if i think about it, in all our good years since then we have never been consistently good througout the season. We always seemed to make a late run (eg. 98 & 2000) or be inconsistent or fall away (mid 2000's). Im really looking forward to a time when we are dominant the whole way through.

They definitely clearly requested that no quesitons be asked about the behind the scenes events of the last 12 months as they felt we had movied on from it. I was slightly perplexed and disappointed. Whilst they might feel the matters are dealt with i think there are many members like myself who still have open wounds over what happened last year and would have liked some closure by having some sort of answers from the men involved directly, who technically should be answering to those who elect them.

There was but it was a non event. The sponsor info was the only thing worth mentioning. All up there were 3 questions/ statements, none footy related. It's a bit intimidating getting up in front of all those ppl I suppose. Neeld wasn't giving much away in terms of game plan etc anyway. Also they specifically requested no questions on last seasons goings on. I agree that the night was flat and rushed, for whatever reasons and the only highlight for me was Neelds speech. I enjoy listening to him(at the moment anyway).

Schwab did imply that a sponsorship deal was close and that he was "confident there would be something in place by round 1" and that its edgy when at the "waiting for signatures" stage. Mentioned the China connection. I'm fairly confident after hearing that.

Greg healey is in the room, read into it what you will
  13. Just logged on to check my scores from last year. (Team name Mick's Superstars) total = 53,289 avg = 2,198 I wouldnt mind being in a similar standard league (Stynes league) if possible.
  14. Appreciate the reports guys. Do we need to bring down the expectations on Howe from the clouds? I love the way he plays but he is being built up massively in the training reports. Looks like for the 3rd year in a row Tapscott hasn't had much of a pre season which is disappointing. Can't wait for the practice matches.
  15. Every game live , ad free siren to siren, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY IN HD (lift your game chennel 7) makes fox footy a definite for me. Im surprised how many people are saying they dont need it because they go to all of our home matches anyway. I for one love watching footy even if we arent participating so i think its worth the money for footy tragics like myself. On top of that you can avoid the other garbage on commercial tv and sit down and watch some docos and other sport from time to time.
  16. I agree totally. Anyway, handballing out of a stoppage and kicking ot a leading forward is hardly groundbreaking strategy that would be revealed from that video. Most would know that Watts, Clarke and Howe will be our marking fwds. Thanks for all your work Trenners.
  17. Brad Miller is the obvious one in recent times. To think Jamar nearly fell into this category until his breakout year in 2010.
  18. Got a bit of the David Neitz's about him. #bigcalloftheday
