Well I’m gonna step out against the grain here and say we will be in this game up to our necks. I’m tipping a 6 point win. Ending our run of losing close games before 25 closes. Here’s my reasons. A number of players may be playing for the last time or the last time as a dee and that might create a certain freedom and intensity. We’ve been super competitive ( yes without winning) in pretty much all games in 25 and despite what many posters say have changed how we play. Theres unfinished business with this side v the pies and the players know it…I think ( if I call 25 the last year of the goody era) they will want to end this “era” with a bang. go dees ‼️

For me it depends if Melksham plays on. If he doesn’t then maybe we should.

Yes he did but that was before his hamstring… which must have been major as he hasn’t had burst speed since. I can see a world where he gets that burst speed back just needs a full and clear pre season.

Not making excuses but wondering about your thoughts on the game break difference. Hawks come off a 9 day break while we come off 6. It does seem like it hands an advantage. we would have lost anyway but perhaps look a little less outclassed?

Im a fan of this personally. I imagine with his bitter experience he understands too well what it means to have a football department disconnected from the players. He would understand what players might respond to and need. By all accounts a smart guy.
