  1. Like I have said before, there won't be enough bronze in the world for the size statue PJ will deserve at the end of his tenure. Great effort and great momentum.
  2. Personally, I think Colin's lack of defensive running will be exposed on the larger ground.
  3. A typical European infuenced story. Started in the tackers back in approx 88 as a short pacey left foot centreman/HFF; aka soft. Shot up in height and started shaving around under 12's to see a shift to a key postion forward; enforcer. By under 15's I was back in the centre, now short again, a little less pace but still a nice left slipper; back to being soft and now worried about redemption. Soft tissue injuries kicked in and I couldn't play successive games from around 15, salt tablets and the rubdown table were my best friends, volunteers never worked so hard. I am now a 34 year old European influenced version of Yoda, minus the wisdom. Luckerly for me, I have been with my wife since I was at school. At that stage there was still hope that I get another growth spurt and that my lush hair would remain.....alas, I am now batting well above my average, Bradman like, life is great. Go Dees!
  4. All clubs need a solid foundation, it would seem someone is making one hell of a contribution. Edit: spelling
  5. Thought that pick was Pedo on mad Monday
  6. Thought that pick was Pedo on mad Monday
  7. Agree Bingo, and, if we can fly higher than the Hawks, Swans, Magpies, Crows or even the Eagles we will be sprinkling seeds of happiness all around town.
  8. Just read this - very similar thoughts.
  9. I am more confused now than before. On that footage alone, and, based on the players likely to be in contention at 9, the two that stood out to me weren't genuine mids. 1. Lennon: Very clean, very smart and good size. But, is he capable being a mid, or, is he suited to a roaming HFF role? 2. Koldashnij: This kid could be anything. Reads the play well, has height, pace and a killer boot. Do we need a skinny sweeper, or, can he develop an engine and beef up to play in the midfield? Freeman is interesting. I love his intent and he clearance work. Unfortunately, he wasn't as clean as I thought, even when he had a little time.....this may come - Confused - The Vault Junction Oval
  10. Get into em' Horhay!
  11. Good eyes Webber, would have been better if he played for West Coast.
  12. Wooooo hooooo Michie welcome See how high he flys
  13. Dew has basically turned down a secured senior coaching role in 3 years, unusual if there isn't anything at the end of the rainbow. I wonder if this is part of Sydney's succession plan by which Longmire returns to Vic, and, maybe take over from Roos?
  14. If that is his girlfriend the man has done very well,he should stay in Sydney and do whatever the hell she tells him to do. WHATEVER. Although, I am now more intrigued than ever, Dew is obviously a brilliant communicator and strategist.....get him to Melbourne now!
  15. Freo by 5 points, goal after the siren.
  16. He's no dill Roos. The shift from 0% to a 50% public voicing is significant, to me, he is all but a Dee. I suspect they are drip feeding the media and public perception out of respect to NC and further negotiations with AFL. This is smart as it seems he is warming to the decision rather than an handshake agreement being in place for some time. Finally, there isn't enough bronze in the world for the statue PJ deserves if he is successful with Roos, Walsh and a key assistant. This really could be the awakening of a sleeping giant.
  17. Saturday September 28. Paul Roos to parachute into the MCG on Grand Final Day carrying the Premiership Cup. He will be wearing a MFC blazer, smoking a pipe and have Cameron Ling sitting on his lap.
  18. MFC - In comparison to EFC of late, looking like a well oiled machine since 1964.
  19. I too have defended Watts on countless occasions over the years, the words "He'll come good, just give him some time" have come out of my mouth every Monday morning for the past 5 years. But, not today. If Watts played on Watts (bare with me here) they would both be happy to be stateless because they'd break even without taking a risk, getting to a contest or getting tackled. Imagine the nice 'chit chat' after the game too.....ohhh I'm going to vomit. After recent events he must go, and, the compensation is secondary, it the statement. If Bartlett and co want to be professional, ruthless and improve the culture of the club, well here is 'exhibit A' staring them in the face.
  20. I am sure there would be plenty of us willing to 'help out' if he had a hand issue. All the best Jesse. #whateverittakessotospeak
  21. Home made chicken schnitzel, rice and salad. Peach crumble heated up then vanilla ice cream on top. Mans not a robot.
  22. 5 minutes into the second quarter of the Pies and GWS game, Jeremy Cameron has scored more than us today.
  23. Two interesting observations; 1) The added bulk of the Essendon players and 2) Devon Smith is shrinking
  24. Will kick his 100th goal from outside 50, on the run, with both his right and left foot at once.
  25. Pretty sure BP is an opposition analyst at Carlton, we shall see if a pattern emerges.
