If he said where he wanted to go, no one else would pick him in the PSD. We're relying on Mitch wanting to make sure we're well compensated. ...if he leaves.

If he leaves the club, I'll move to India and take up Buddhism. Walk around wearing a robe all day with no access to television. I'll stop short of saying I'll stop posting here though because I don't want to make sweeping statements. -
I think it's the lack of respect for the people involved that always bugs me about this sort of humour. Imagine I'm alone on this one.

After further consideration, I'm retracting my "hell no" and replacing it with a "well, whatever" -
Mate, you made your worth clear a long time ago.

Anyone claiming that Mitch was faking his depression does not deserve their opinions heard. You're worthless as a poster.
-
I imagine there's something going on behind the scenes or he would've said something already. Strange situation, but people are jumping at shadows at the moment. I'm gonna sleep on it.
-
Damn... thanks mate. Still seems more likely to me that he started a new account and closed his old one. Would be a lot of effort deleting all those past posts. Being depressed, it makes sense he'd want to move on from where he was.

You can't change your handle on instagram, you have to start a new one. If he wanted the pressure of the number 11 gone and to take a step back from the footy world then he'd have to open a new account which is why all his old posts wouldn't be there. Makes sense hey? Some people here are very quick to turn on a much loved and respected player. Edit: I stand corrected.

How do I not have you on ignore already... -
Just don't go reaching for the pitchforks until we hear something definite from Mitch or the club. The big guy gave us his all until his body broke down and deserves some respect. Also we've got good people running the show now who aren't going let us get dudded in all this.

Don't start that crap until we hear something from Mitch. Show some bloody respect.

Great speech from Roosy. We're in good hands.

How many times in a week do you feel disgraced? [censored] it must be a hard life -
Better than a fistful of valium.

-You have a Demons scarf on. -You go to Demons games and support the Demons.

If we don't win this match when North have nothing on the line and are resting 5 key players, it will be a disgrace! Jokes. I won't even be watching.

Interesting seeing the vitriol about Karmichael Hunt's recruitment in this thread, especially from Beelzebub as I thought I blocked him already. Will get to that now. I think it's been a great success and loved seeing a star rugby player have a crack at our sport. Obviously came over for the money, but he gave it his all, even re-signed amidst huge offers from the rugby codes. Never left anything on the field and would've given a few of our mids a run for their money. Besides (probs no one reading by this point), as others have said, the money comes back through the exposure it created. Living in Queensland at the time, it was huge news when he kicked that goal against Geelong, then massive when he kicked the winning goal against Richmond. Every time he played, it gave people with no interest in AFL a reason to watch.

He's doing more than Brynes already.

I liked the way he went about it. Would've loved to see him run around again this year, definitely one of my favourite non Melbourne players. Would've been happy to have him playing for us. Best of luck to him.
