I didn't see much evidence for the proposition that the players were unfit and the fact that Roosy kept Misso on board suggests this is wrong. Also not sure about Neeld's "leadership". More a case of inability to stamp his authority on the group.

Saw Foxtel Sports News last night had an item on GWS training and it was claimed that the usual suspect was training the house down. Reinforces the rumour I heard that a certain knee injury was embellished and played up as somewhat worse than it really was a few years ago to make it easier for a change of clubs at the end of the season.

And the coach would say that he's able to work more on the skills of the players which, after all, the lack of which together with a decent gameplan is what's held us back in the past few seasons. I wasn't aware that Ellis landed such a prestigious position after leaving Melbourne in what was virtually disgrace after the lost tax bill fiasco. The stars must have aligned for him to get the position and he must have learned some lessons to stay there for this long. Anyone know what's happened with our other recent CEOs after leaving the club?

Does anyone have an idea as to how many players we have in rehab at this time of year compared to last?
