That’s a strange comment to make. The Weid has already played some good games at AFL level and has been inconvenienced by injury (ankle problems, I think). Lovett has played a couple of games at Casey Seniors where he has been unimpressive and languished in the Development League where he failed to stand out. Good luck to him at Frankston but he would be a real long shot to make an AFL list at this stage.

2017 Player Reviews: # 45 Declan Keilty
The Third Eye replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
It will be interesting to see him after another full pre season under his belt. -
"A very unhelpful guide to 2018" You need to acknowledge Titus O'Reilly for the heading to this post.

We might need someone of his kind but not him with the baggage and the high salary he commands. The $800k would be far better spent and even if Sydney paid some of his wage, they would have to throw in Zak Jones as a sweetener.

They've all become gentrified at the Borough Mr Biffen. Town houses, SUV's and cafe latte these days and the only crimes are white collar.

Good article from Tim Lane who is a native Taswegian - In AFL nothing is certain, except Tasmania should have a team Merge Brisbane/GCS and bring in Tassie!!!

I don't believe that Clarrie was ever small enough to be in grade two. -

The Mitch Clark Thread Reprised
The Third Eye replied to stevethemanjordan's topic in Melbourne Demons
No. I think we originally tried to shop him to Collingwood when we were after Heritier Lumumba and they didn't want him. -

Judging by your tweeting tonight, I'm guessing that Mitch Clark gets a gig somewhere in those 800 pages.

Did I miss how many days there are to go to the draft Redleg? Tommy Bugg and Barrie Vagg will be very disappointed.

I don't know whether there's any significance in this but someone on the Hawthorn supporter site has just started a thread entitled "The No J£ No B$ Thread".

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
The Third Eye replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in General Discussion
A must read today is this propaganda piece from Robbo in the HUN - Dilemma for AFL but Jobe must keep medal Lots of errors, cringeworthy and completely lacking in any logic. The must create a dilemma for those who run the newspaper - how on earth did he get the gig as chief football writer? -
That being said, we still have our work cut out for use because we have little trading currency to help us secure any players. We sold our first round pick last year and our second will go on Hibberd.

Is there any word on Oscar McDonald's injury? -
A man walks into a bar. He sees a beautiful, well-dressed woman sitting on a barstool alone. He sits down next to her and says, "Hi there, how's it going tonight?" She turns to him, looks him straight in the eyes and says, "I'll screw anybody, any time, any where, any place, it doesn't matter to me." The guy raises his eyebrows and says, "No kidding? What law firm do you work for?"

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JOSHUA WAGNER
The Third Eye replied to DemonLad5's topic in Melbourne Demons
In the 426 basket. -
We're only talking about 8 - 10 MFC players at most who aren't involved in the NAB Challenge game and aren't injured. That still leaves around 40 Casey players who can be used across senior and reserves practice matches.

DiNatale was put up as the leader of the Greens because they had nobody else with a veneer of respectability to be the main person. Unfortunately, he's not too bright.

Saturday Talking Point: How far can we improve in 2016?
The Third Eye replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Leaving aside the messenger, I want to know if people think Robbo has it right. His point is that irrespective of the personnel, the improvement in the list, the greater depth and whether or not we have luck with injury, he believes we can't improve enough to make the eight because Rossy's game plan is far too negative.
