Czy ona jest ekspertem od kiełbasy?
-
True. What I do recall is that the ball got swept out of our forward line pretty easily last year and we need one or two of these smalls to apply manic pressure....consistently.
-
Maybe a bit tough Stuie. The only thing I'll add is that I am very upbeat on our new 'serial pest' Dion Johnstone as a crumbling forward with a little bit of mongrel. He'll be the bloke that Ben Kennedy sees when looking over his shoulder imo. And that's not a bad thing.

It's hard to believe he could get much bigger/ stronger. He really is our Glen Jakovich.

Yours or his Saty? I just wondered whether he suggested this to you over the fence. -
2017 Finals Here we come....
Return to Glory replied to Sir Why You Little's topic in Melbourne Demons
So I had a dream last night; two dreams if you count my date with a young Farrah Fawcett in Main Street, Mornington (we had paella). The second had newby Dion Johnstone as a reincarnation of Aaron Davey with manic forward pressure and a whole lot of mongrel and we became a desperate outfit. Disregard my previously cautious post. We'll come home with a wet sail in 2017. -
2017 Finals Here we come....
Return to Glory replied to Sir Why You Little's topic in Melbourne Demons
For mine, this is a balanced assessment Macca. My gut feeling is that our real push for finals success will be in 2018 and 2017 may not be all that we hope for (I'm normally wrong) -
I grew up in a family that espoused the politics of the Labor Left. The Labor Left as it stands today appears a very different beast, hijacked by peripheral issues that cannot hope to resonate with families wanting to get by. And the parallels with the US Election are clear. You mentioned Trump Biffen but the story for mine of that election was Clinton and her absolute disregard or misreading of the electorate. She ignored rustbelt States, choosing not to campaign at all in a couple of them and thought it would be advantageous to have Jay Z and Katie Perry 'sing' her laurels which appeared to be little more than 'I'm not him, I'm a woman, and it's my turn'. For the UK see Brexit. Meanwhile, in Victoria, Nixon and her predecessor wouldn't release crime figures around ethnicity and violent assaults, those who questioned the wisdom of the immigration policy were branded racists, and the bulk of the community (which also includes lefties like myself) now realise that we're in a pickle. But, of course, I blame the middle aged white man. It's our fault.

Col Sylvia would've been disappointed with this initiative. -

Given the chance of a lifetime to play AFL at the top level, continues to screw up with two assault charges pending, [censored] on the club and all of the players accusing them all of being on drugs and, if I read it right, wants Fyfe to 'die a slow painful death'. The icing on the cake is the complete lack of punctuation. I find it hard to have any sympathy. -
GWS needs to fill the gap left by the removal of their pick 17 by Gil and they therefore should be awarded our rookie upgrade. It's only right.

Well that's a story in itself SWYL. It was on a recent club sanctioned trek to Tibet, The Prince went to bow to the Dalai Lama, the Dalai Lama moved to one knee to bow to the Prince and it was just a simple clash of heads. There's no concussion testing (other than incense) in that part of the World and, naturally, The Prince held the club accountable. Did he have a case? It's hard to say.

Lachie Whitfield under investigation

GWS lose the equivalent to pick 17. Never let it be said that the AFL won't come down hard on it's own club. Sure, they'll have a couple of picks inside the top ten and their protected academy players but Gil has drawn a huge line in the sand. Pick 17 is critical to this club's success and Gil has picked up two wet lettuces and let em' have it. -
I call it Don Dunstan tough

My recollections of playing Doveton Lions in the junior comp are: Being punched in the head every time I lead up for a mark by a bloke with a full beard who then did time for murder Several parents beaten up when we played at their home ground as juniors Most of their u16 side driving cars to our ground A general feeling of fear

Most club are football/netball combined NC

Good luck Flash. The 'Duvvy' supporters will be very excited about seeing someone with a full set of teeth. Or any teeth for that matter. I wouldn't necessarily be taking my car to the ground though.

I've heard a coupe of his interviews. You're spot on. He doesn't actually listen to the response of the interviewee but looks to get his own content/ story out there. Be great to sit next t at a dinner party.

Once again we're on the same page BBO. There's an ego that makes Jeff Kennett look like he's unsure of himself.

Clayton would be spewing that he's not playing for Port Adelaide. A couple of extra laps at training and it'd be all done and dusted.
