  1. Hasn't this match risen to dizzy heights!! 🙄
  2. If there's been a change in the boundaries, changing Prasad's eligibility, I wonder if there's room to appeal to the AFL or beyond?
  3. Off to Gather Round tomorrow morning for a belated 60th. With some great mates so will ignore the media garbage and enjoy the food, wine and footy.
  4. You know you truly hate a team when you start barracking for a Geelong team that includes Bailey Smith.
  5. Stinga, I'm interested in who you think would be more likely to get a call up this year? I think Onley may be a distance away and Taylor too slight for where they may wish to play him
  6. The bad news is that two-bit ambulance chasing journalists (Tom Morose & Sam Manure spring to mind) will smell blood in the water. We're not Collingwood so this will be a free hit for them. I do feel for Richardson. There was good intent. Yes, he may not executed things well but you don't expect an unnecessarily aggrieved biachy nobody to record the meeting and use it to undermine the club. Or perhaps you should now expect the worst.
  7. Ok, hindsight is 20-20 vision but I had a sneaky feeling we'd win today. I also have a feeling that the Bummers could run us close next week. I've seen enough footy to know how these things can play out. I'll be in Adelaide so hope I'm wrong
  8. No, I can confirm that number 22 should be umpiring the Mt Eliza v Frankston Pines match next week. He has no business being a professional umpire. And I'd argue that the term 'professional' doesn't feel like an appropriate fit for what I saw today.
  9. Stuffed a play and immediately made amends. He's our very own junk yard dog. Every team needs one. And a ripping kid to boot.
  10. We absolutely are Maldonboy. Too many "sky is falling" posts. I've seen some real positives already
  11. Watched Sam McClure last night on Kayo. Whenever I see him, I immediately think of a quote attributed to the comedian George Burns: 'The most important thing in life is sincerity. If you can fake that, you've got it made.' ...in a nutshell, that's how I see Sam McClure
  12. I get so many things wrong (is that a disclaimer?) but I didn't have to be a rocket scientist to know good things would come from the recruitment of Jack Steele. There's a real old-fashion leader-of-men feel with Jack.
  13. Bing, genuinely not sure how you reach this conclusion. I think he's very good at public relations. I have noticed that nothing is ever his fault.
  14. Feels like your normal Kardinia Park Freekickathon
  15. C hook, I've got news for you - Brian Taylor, Eddie McGuire, James Brayshaw, the list goes on, are all one eyed and dismal. I think Hinkley is quite good.
  16. McGrath was the number one draft pick as well. One of the worst in recent times if not the worst
  17. The one real positive is that we're running the game out....so far. Consider that first quarter mawling
  18. AMW will come in. Has to
  19. Tholstrup has been tagging Serong. He's been good
  20. Yes, but Kyle Sandilands may be busy. Remember that he's a key face in a new Australian national anti-racism and anti-hate campaign. You couldn't make it up
  21. This is being entirely orchestrated for one outcome, with the last 24 hours seemingly a concerted campaign. So a bit of 'we want it to seem like there's a genuine process, so we'll cite 'Pendles' to add a bit of legitimacy'. End result - clear to play. We can only hope that Michael 'I'll resign if he gets suspended' Christian provides us with the outcome
  22. Sparrow for AMW?
  23. Haven't seen the Gold Coast game but will be curious to see the Harley Reid contribution. Not sure he'll ever be what West Coast thought he would.
  24. i recall that there were times where he was lucky to make the Carlton side. An incredibly interesting choice made by his father. Still, that's the Aints problem. Today was fun. Like we have extricated ourselves from a choke hold
  25. A game that could be the making of Sharpy
