More positive exposure for our football club. For too long now there has been a lopsided negative approach to reporting surrounding us, granted a lot has been of our own making, however it is increadably refreshing to hear nothing but positive news! Loving the new Melbourne FC and hopefully the media has nothing but positives to report on as the season gets underway.

A few seasons ago I compared Jones's stats with those of one Dane Swan at the same time in their careers. Jones's stats not only matched Swans but in a lot of areas Jones was ahead of Swan. Given that Jones has continued to improve and he will have support through the midfield, next season I would expect Jonesy to take his game to yet another level. By the end of 2014 we may well be talking of Jones as an out and out A grade midfielder.

Grimes and Jones would be a great combo. Grimes is eloquent and media savy, Jonesy is the spiritual on field leader. Roosy loves co-captains.

If Giles leaves as has been rumoured, ide give up pick 2 and one of Jamar/Spencer for Shiel.

It all started with Judd, and now everyone, including players with no runs on the board believe they can call the shots. in the past players were traded all the time against their will for the betterment of the club. I agree that clubs like Brisbane and GWS should be looking for the best deal not simply appeasing deserting players.
