  1. And who's turned up fitter than they've ever been?
  2. Would be a great pick-up for Norf. Means we'll never hear Deeerwayne's pre-prepared commentary line: "Hore, May, Swallow . . . GAWWN".
  3. It's got me thinking . . . Jeelong: No Cats under 30 Horethorn: No cheques under $1,000,000 Colinwood: No calculators in board room Essendrugs: No shady vitamin dealers Adelaide: Taylor Walker's no dikkhed GCS: No free riding here GWS: Toby Green's no wanca Carltank: No delusions of grandeur South: No special treatment
  4. It's to confuse the opposition. Horethorn: probably think 195cm is $195,000 they're paying Clarkson per month to stay home. Carltank: the height they thought they were getting with Brock McLean. Jeelong: 195 is the amount of times Duckwood cheats per season. Meth Coke: transfer fee they're paying for Glen Bartlett. Essendrugs: the amount of mils. in each injection. Gold Coast: the amount of priority picks they take. St. Kilda: the amount of 'rain' that used to fall at Linton Street on the Friday night before home games in the 1970's. Colinwood: can't count which ever way you present numbers.
  5. Reminds me of a young Dunstall.
  6. When it comes to Colinwood, nothing is ever OTT. The bigger the crisis down there, the better I like it.
  7. What did you pay and what are they worth today Bobby?
  8. Happy eight-week anniversary everyone.
  9. Derm doesn't like us because we prevented Horethugs winning four premierships in a row. Definitely two of the best consecutive wins in the Deez modern history IMHO (up until 2021 anyway).
  10. I'm going with the after party. Anyone carrying Max around is working harder than my iPad after midnight.
  11. The whole Pies thing is a grand ruse Jontee. Nev: I love this club, and you have been so good to me. How can I help us win two in a row? Goody: I have a project, but it's tough - not for everyone. But I think you're the man. Nev: Shoot. Goody: Go over to the Filth for 12 months. I want you to document in a dossier everything you hear, see and touch. Nev: Okay, but why? Goody: Then bring it back here at the end of 2022 when you take up the newly created position at the Demons of Adipati El Supremo Generalissimo of Football and Everything else. Nev: I see. Sounds good Coach. But what's with the dossier? Goody: Oh, yes, that. I will study it deeply. That way I'll know what Colinwood are up to and do everything the opposite here, and begin our run to the three-peat in 2023. Nev: You're a genius. This is going to be better fun than standing Dane Swan in 2014 and taking him apart. Thanks Goody.
  12. I've crappped on about Jeelong numerous times elsewhere on 'Land. Here's all you need to know about the numbskull thinking down there: 2021 Jeremy Cameron: 15 games, 39 goals, 16 behinds. Cost: Forfeited 15 years service of three good (possibly great) players. In the door: Holmes. 2021 BBB and TMac: 35 games, 58 goals, 35 behinds. Cost: Virtually free. In the door: Bowey.
  13. Richie Benno. "Marvellous effort that by young Oliver. I've never seen anything like this on any ground anywhere in the world. They're a very good team this Melbourne outfit, quite brilliant today. 22 very, very good players."
  14. We've had some great no. 9, no. 9, no.9 no. 9, no. 9, no.9 no. 9, no. 9, no.9 no. 9, no. 9, no.9 no. 9, no. 9, no.9 no. 9, no. 9, no.9 .........
  15. Did anyone happen to hear the interview on ABC radio today with Michael Byrne and how he was shipped out of Melbourne in 1982?
  16. Hell . . . a few clubs had a complete and utter mare in the 2019 draft. Cameron Zurhaar in the rookie draft is looking like potentially a good pick.
  17. Such a pity this nob-head (Zempiss) phukkked up the day.
  18. I watched the game again yesterday . . . do other people still shout at the tele even though the game was six weeks ago and you've watch it 50 times? My neighbours must be fed up.
  19. This has been commented on and researched ad infinitum by probably every club in Australia. There's a reason it hasn't improved and it's got very little to do with practicing goal kicking (particularly set shot goal kicking) given the current time constraints players have to get better at this skill versus the time required to improve. If it was simply a matter of practice, Nathan Buckley would have turned Cloke into the greatest forward of all time. I'm not saying it'll never improve, but any improvement will likely be incremental and occur over a long period of time, assuming there is no massive breakthrough in technology. There are a complex cluster of inputs that all need to work synchronistically together to even achieve minor improvement. One of those is practicing under conditions that simulate high-pressure scenarios, the role of fatigue in preparing to kick for goal and take into account the unique characteristics of different venues and whether conditions. Bring all these together in a practice environment, given the current evolution of the game, is practically impossible.
  20. If you or anyone else you know is having trouble with their #mentalhealth at the moment, you can self-refer to Demonland.
  21. I notice you don't mention umpiring 58er.
  22. Very easy question to answer . . . Bid up if it's any interstate club, Colinwood, Carltank, Horethorn, Essendrugs, Jeelong. All other clubs play fair.
  23. this is such a myth.
