  1. FFS Stuie, they are going to be few and far between, just allow yourself a few hours of enjoying the win. Tomorrow we can conduct the post mortem of what occurred in the middle two quarters
  2. Like everyone I will just enjoy the win and allow myself to do so for the next few days. Two really bad middle quarters, the boys showed some character in the last when we faced a nightmare scenario especially after the week we have had media wise. Learn from the mistakes and to Dees everywhere whilst you may not be happy with the overall performance just allow yourself to enjoy the win for a couple of hours at least.
  3. The only positive I will take from Clark's foot being on ice and not being on crutches is it may well not be a recurrence of lis franc, still a big concern though
  4. The result does not matter now, the decisions will be being made tonight, even if we stumble over the line it will only delay the inevitable. Really everytime I think we have hit rock bottom the club continues to surprise me.
  5. Have to say BH it has crossed my mind over the last 20 odd hours if the board are losing their support with Neeld and they can find anything in the contract which has been breached relating to the current revelations this will be an opportunity for them to act and not be faced with big payouts. If this is the case and they take it to the AFL I believe they will receive full support in taking action against anyone who may be implicated. Then again will wait and see if there is any truth in this Healy rumour
  6. Sorry WYL I will correct you 3 years ago we were ahead of the Tigers by a long way.
  7. We do Old Dee Red & Blue till death, the future will decide which one goes first me or the club! On a good note going to see a Top of the table clash tomorrow at Claremont oval where the Mighty Cardies take on the Tigers. Both undefeated
  8. Never give up Old Dee, no matter how bad things seem Take the pain and hang in there
  9. Dr G could not have put it better myself, one of my kids has jumped off and I would not blame the other one if he did, whilst I am in till death the tunnel seems to be getting longer with no end in site. Thank christ for the WAFL, top of the table clash tomorrow between Claremont (Tigers) & West Perth (Cardinals) it's the only way I have been able to hear the song this year
  10. I take it BH your starting to doubt, Neeld I may be wrong but I believed you were one who felt the changes he was making were necassary and would see us head into the right direction eventually. I'm not having a shot but after the start we have had I am starting to lose a bit of faith in him, not ready to show him the door as I always knew it would take time just didnt think we would come out this bad.
  11. Took the words out of my mouth Redleg, I will await the clubs reply!
  12. Was he somethingto do with the Bombers previously?
  13. Trenners has all the qualities of a good leader, I am a big fan of his, he is a very good footballer with great discipline. In my mind will be a gun midfielder in a couple of years, but having said all that I am also of the opinion that him being given the captaincy at such an early stage may have been premature. Despite the many knockers on this site Trenners is the least of the clubs worries
  14. You know the answer but the Premiership is forever tainted their supporters know it, Woosha and that dog Nisbett know it and they all hate it ever being brought up to this day. There is nothing they can ever do to change it
  15. I beg to differ they knew there was a problem with Cousins when Judge brought it to their attention in 2001, he was moved on. Worsfold has been quoted in Bens documentary saying they new there we serious problems with him in June 2006, they continued playing him, they won the flag but look how he ended up They chose glory over the health of one of their players & that is why they are hated in the west. They turfed him out when he became an embarrassment to them. Fletcher flat lined in Vegas in off season 2006.
  16. Pav wont last forever, but a kid with him for two years as a chop out may be what they need, however what are they prepared to give up as they rely so heavily on Mundy & Barlow from the middle
  17. 2001 Freo to Hawks in return for Luke Mcpharlin & Trent Croad Still talked about in WA to this day that they missed out on Judd and handed Meth Coast the final piece in their midfield jigsaw
  18. I think Bomber also had a year left on his contract at the Cats & I know Malthouse definitely did at Meth Coast, so if things aren't working out contracts mean nothing so never say never
  19. Clarko is signed till the end of 2014 http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/hawks-resign-clarkson-for-another-three-years-20110826-1jd7t.html
  20. Worst case scenario we finish bottom, which I honestly think wont happen but if we do Thomas BOYD will he remain Number 1, we don't need him but pretty sure Freo, Crows, Lions and Port would not say no to him. What do they wish to put on the table for the number 1 pick. You would want two players or 1 player and their first pick Freo - Barlow and their first pick Crows - Sloan & Mckay or Sloan + their first pick Lions - Rockliff or Rich and first pick Port - You wont get Hartlett or Wingard and so maybe say okay Wines + your first pick but at this rate he is heading up there to there untouchable basket Just scenarios thrown up but as I say I don't expect us to have pick 1 or 2 and hopefully we wont need to think about it
  21. + 1, over the years Biff I have been told by many argumentative blokes, I don't know why the guy just belted me for no reason at all
  22. HT what makes reading through that thread worse is I attended the Subiaco v East Perth game about 3 weeks ago. Sinclair was lead ruckman for Subi & Paul Johnson was East Perth's ruckman. Sinclair broke even with Johnson at centre bounces but similar to Jamar on the weekend, Sinclair was far more mobile and killed Johnson around the ground.
  23. I hear you C & B and this is where our lack of leadership hurts us most, if teams get a run on against Cats or Hawks up step Joel Selwood & Luke Hodge to either do something inspirational or make a move on field to stem the stide and take control of the game by slowing it down.
  24. Yes but we need to start winning our fair share of clearances out of the middle, to capitalise on our strength
