  1. They haven't lost at the G since 2017
  2. 12 to 18 months ago I would have said steer clear but, Brad Hill is in a much better place now according to my mail. Not many better runners in the AFL
  3. Picking Ablett, Scarlett and Hawkins up in the 40s before the FS rules changed didn't hamper them either
  4. Thanks for the update BB, much appreciated
  5. That's pretty much what I'm saying he's been good of late since they moved him off the wing. Chunk is a warrior, I think many forget how he was almost a one man band in the pre Roos years
  6. Last month says, he stays on for 1 more year. Lewis will be gone end of season and 2020 IMO will be Jones last year
  7. 6.Oliver 5. Tmac 4.Trac 3.Fritsch 2. Pruess 1. Harmes
  8. I'm surprised you give any oxygen to the troll DD
  9. Another player we discussed today, he's an interesting one who has certainly raised his stocks after his carnival games. Tough call is was it a sign of an upward trajectory performing under pressure ir has he just put 4 good games together I think the former but think he lacks real x factor, although if anyone can ever show me Simon Blacks Xfactor outside of having great vision and calmness under pressure(which many don't see as xfactor, but I do) Robertson comes from a family of endurance athletes, I'd thought before this year he was very vanilla but he's developed a decent side step and acceleration in traffic, which is a plus I think he'll be a good player by all accounts he's a driven individual but I see him as pick 10+ at best. If as I expect we have pick 5-7 if all available in order I would take Ash, Greene, Kemp, Young, Gould, Serong & Flanders. I am ruling out Anderson and Rowell who will go top 2 or 3 if there's a late bolter.
  10. Said to my mate today whilst there was some good young prospects in todays game Ash stood out was composed in traffic, made good decisions and showed skills under pressure would be a good pick up IMO. I think Rowell is a very safe pick but wouldn't be surprised if from Kemp, Rivers or Green end up being outstanding midfielders
  11. Heard that and thought that's better than what could have been, good to see the WA boys get the win some really good kids from both sides, Jaxon Prior is one of our clubs boys, not up there with some of the other boys but comes from good stock. Really liked the look of Serong and Ash from VC
  12. This squad or at least the majority hasn't had it. They have seen improvement every year since 2014, yes there has been injuries and the interupted pre seasons having an impact but a feeling of natural progression and it will just happen may have set in to what at the core of it is still an inexperienced unit in the nucleus
  13. No issue with what occurred yesterday but FFS, lets see how he comes back for pre season before we start anointing May as our Captain for next season. Some absolute hypocrites on here who slated the club for forking out a first round pick on May and not doing their due diligence with his lack of conditioning, discipline and fondness for the frothies. Now we've got the next Voss/Reiwoldt on our list
  14. 6. Salem 5. May 4. Viney 3. Oliver 2. Jones 1.Trac
  15. Was originally thinking we might only go with Frost and May against Hipwood and Mcstay, but they also have Mcinhernney to throw forward and give Martin a chop out. Will be interesting
  16. After his in and under game last week Lewis may be part of the rotations,. I think final I/C will be Hore, Hibberd, Petty and 1 of Lewis/ANB Rotations through middle Viney, Oliver, Gus Trac, Jones and Harmes + 1 of Nibbler/Lewis
  17. Demonland is actually being ruined by one particular poster and members need to stop feeding MB. It's getting unbearable to have to scroll through content to find some decent discussion which is not someone trying to have the last word
  18. 6.Viney 5.Oliver 4.Tmac 3.Gawn 2.Lockhart 1.Trac Apologies to May and Frost
  19. it's an absolute disgrace "The Architect" of brushing everything under the carpet between 2001 and 2007 Trevor Nesbitt is still CEO. He was told exactly what was going on by Ken Judge
  20. it will come and why wouldn't we bring in a player lacking mobility against a side who loves to create run and carry opportunities from their back half
  21. Really you ask, it ain't you. I like your input, don't always agree with it but it is balanced. Think along the lines of multiple user names
  22. What it highlights is the lack of understanding of how clubs work and outright blind faith placed in articles and what is said in press conferences. Only days ago the regular hand ringers were slating the club for not having a review, to believe that was nonsense. They are many of the same who probably believe the FD didn't review the prelim. Don't expect overnight turnaround gameplan tweeking will have been happening for a while but won't be set in for a while I notice the usual troll is making ridiculous claims again. Won't be long before this thread is derailed
  23. 2 weeks ago against Collingwood and they rolled us at the G in 2017 after we got out to a 6 goal lead from memory, Cam Mcarthy kicked a late one for them
  24. Out: Garlett, Tmac, Wagner In: Lockhart, Smith, ANB B. Hore May Hibberd HB. Jones Frost Lever C. Salem Brayshaw Fritsch HF. Hunt Weid Trac F. Lockhart Smith Hannan R. Gawn, Oliver, Harmes I/C. Viney Baker Spargo ANB One thing Freo can do is run and spread expect Bennell or Stephen Hill to come in after this week. We need to be as mobile as we can
  25. 6. Gawn 5. Harmes 4. Petracca 3. May 2. Oliver 1. Gus
