  1. Pretty sure i read an article that quoted P Roos saying that he was a good chance even though he hasnt played. Think it was news.com? maybe afl website. Here it is. http://www.news.com.au/sport/afl/jeremy-howe-firms-as-round-1-starter-for-melbourne-bernie-vince-races-the-clock-to-be-fit/story-fndv8pdq-1227281227675
  2. Pretty disapointed really. I wouldn't have moved Fitzy to the back line unless I had completely given up on him. I am guessing that the coaching staff have made that decision. Fitzy just does not look like a backman at all. His strength is his speed and height. He hasnt got the endurance or strength to play as a defender.
  3. Macca, your post's are always a pleasure to read.
  4. If you take out that kick in howler from the Freo game, he has actually been pretty good. His disposal has not been anywhere near as bad as a lot on here make out. I wonder how many slow players we can have in the team at one time though.
  5. Havent made a team yet. But he would not be. I dont pick mid priced players. A graders and rookies all they way for me. I assume you have a point in this? Just read the AFL post match report. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2015-03-20/dons-deny-dees-in-thriller Jordie McKenzie didnt get off the bench?
  6. Ah ok, thought you heard him say it post match. Interesting point though. I doubt Paul Roos would only pick a ten man side though.
  7. These posts are simply unbelievable. He is 20 years old FFS! Wouldn't have got drafted? My god. You really are a [censored] idiot.
  8. Pretty sure it would have been because we received a firm no from Dangerfield's manager. We are paying 100% of our salary cap? Jeez... I hope we are front ended to the max. Otherwise we are paying waaaaay over.
  9. I agree WYL. The cover ups and saving face stuff done by the AFL really pisses me off.
  10. My feeling is he was forced to leave by the AFL. Just a feeling. But there is more to this story. But yes. He will play his best for them. The [censored] thing is how it will get played out in the media that geelong brought the best out in him when we all knew how good he was.
  11. When was the last time this happened?
  12. 2012 Nab cup round 2. Melbourne defeated Collingwood by 9pts. We got belted by the hawks the following week by 79pts. Another touch up followed from Port the next week. That was the year we got belted by Brisbane in round 1. There were many tears.
  13. Bang bang. Better players get involved abd we score 2 goals.
  14. Seems like we have run out of gas with 5mins to go towards qrt time. I'm hopefull that the boys might settle down a bit after half time. Playing so rushed at the moment. Always kicking to a player under pressure.
  15. I didnt take long for Dermie to annoy the [censored] out of me.
  16. Really? I thought there was plenty to like. Guess im a glass half full type.
  17. Yeah.... but what about when we win? I friggin love this place after a win.
  18. Meh. I dont believe it was his choice to leave us. We were lucky we got decent compensation. I wonder if we will ever hear the true story.
  19. Thats right. He is an excellent back up first ruck. Would be handy on our list though..... Whats the deal with Neeld getting the Kent pick right? What input did he have?
  20. Damn! That is a deep burn! Nice new avatar.
  21. Meh. 1 game. Hawks were almost playing there box hill team. I think Chip will be in for a good year.
  22. Putting emotions aside for a moment. Its a no. Why not target someone who will make a difference? With emotions involved, he can get stuffed. Thread title needs to be changed. I also thought Tmac was injured.
  23. The truth is, anyone who is out of contract this year will be under the microscope. We pruned our list very heavily last year. There are going to be some very hard decisions at the end of this season.
