I would rather point out that Frost wont be able to stop him either. May is the only one on our list who can go with him to a decent standard. Therefore I would rather get games of experience into Petty.

ANB - I slightly defended him in the preseason by pointing out that we had no one better to replace him with, but he is horribly out of form. He was woeful again and simply must be dropped. Sparrow would be better. I pray that Garlett is ready. (scary) OMac - I defended him when he was 20 years old. I wont now that he has turned 23. Everytime I see Omac and Frost as our KPD my heart sinks. You cannot afford to play both of them. Frost deserves to be in this chat, but really probably deserves his own thread of hate.

Good thing we traded 3 first rounders to fix up the backline.

The problem for me is that they are competing for the same spots as Maynard, Josh Wagner and JKH who are all players of similar levels. We have about 6 VFL guys competing for the 30th best position on our list. We have a lot of injuries right now. We have a lot of players out of form right now. We have some guys on the list who have played a handful of games, are quite old in terms of a footballer, who are getting overlooked by kids who have been on the list for 15 days. Bring in the VFL players but sweep the broom at the same time.

So does Sparrow, Lockhart, KK, Jones, Hunt and one of Frost or OMac. The problem is.... the cupboard is bare. We can bring in Stretch, Corey Wagner, Spargo and Hore but will that make any difference? Not in my opinion. We are in trouble here. We desperately need some of the more experienced players to find form and for a few to come back from injury.

Went exactly how I thought. Positives: Oliver, Brayshaw, Viney all looked way better than last week. Viney in particular. Still so many passengers, and we have no one to replace them. Very concerning.

That's the answer? Wagner? FMD. Who replaces Lockhart? Who replaces Sparrow? Who replaces Frost? Who replaces ANB? Who replaces Jones? Who replaces KK? Replacing with a Wagner is just shuffling the deck chairs. I'm not saying you are wrong. It's just that replacing Trac is a luxury we can't afford at this time. I would love it if it was. I'm very disappointed with his output, just a bit more realistic than some others.

Agreed. And to be honest I would rather gift Spargo games than some of the others. At least he has shown he will be part of the future.

Yep. Totally agree. Still not the reason we are losing. I love having a winge about the umpires in a close game. Why bother in a game like this? They have a bloody hard job. I would rather point out (once again) that we are playing Jones and ANB as outside types and we have no one else to bring in for them.

Come on boys... Don't drop the head now. Dig deep and take something into next week. I'm still a lot happier than I was last week. Oliver, Brayshaw and Viney look way better than last week. Our list is nowhere near as deep as we thought. Remember last year where we had Hannan, Kent, Garlett and Spargo competing for that fwd position? Or the luxury of playing Hogan for stints in the midfield? Or TMac starting on the wing to start the match? Wow.

How he stayed in the side after last week and with May coming back in is a complete mystery.
