  1. Yeah, and if he kicks 5 we will win and he will be amazing. No point getting upset about a hypothetical situation.
  2. Could barely watch. losing that one would have been truly heartbreaking
  3. I dont know if he 'got worked out'. Hunts role and strength has been to run, bounce, break lines maybe bounce again then pump the ball quickly into the forward 50. That play simply hasn't been in Goodwins game plan this year. We aim to move the ball quickly by playing on running your full measure if required and disposing of the ball to an open player. If you take a bounce you have held onto it too long. I wouldn't be surprised if the boys are instructed not to bounce the ball unless 100% needed. The only times I can think of it happening is seeing Hibberd bouncing at full tilt to give himself a modicum more space before releasing from the back line or Melksham bouncing while going forward as their are no options ahead of him. Hunt's strengths don't fit into our game plan at the moment. I think he really struggled not playing his natural game at the start of the year.
  4. An old article about Jay Lockhart if anyone is interested.
  5. Used to be that you could only have 1 third year rookie. Is that still the case? Will be a hard call with Bull Smith and Corey Maynard if its still the same.
  6. It shows how unprofessional we are. Someone within the club should have said 'No'.
  7. Many are saying he is 'cooked'. He hasn't played at his best for a number of years and this year looks terrible. I think they have finally admitted he is injured and have stopped playing him.
  8. I don't think that's the rule. You must take 2 first rounders in a four year rolling period. We took 2 in 2015, but none in 16, 17 and have no pick for 18. Which means that unless we trade in a first rounders this year or next, we will breech the rule and be barred from trading future picks. I wonder where the AFL would step in? Before we have infringed or after? We could trade out our 2019 first rounders this year if an amazing deal presented and promise to trade in first rounders next year. If we fail to bring in the picks the penalty would be that we wouldn't be able to trade picks for a number of years. Regardless, it wouldn't put us in a good spot going forward.
  9. Quad I think... it was in the weekly Miso video on the club website but no listed in the official injuries.
  10. I turned off after watching the third replay of Harry McKay hitting the post and the commentary team telling me how exciting it was.
  11. Remember 2005 where he was on fire for the first three games of the year? Brent Guera targeted him at the start of the round 4, pinned his arms and tackled him heavily into the turf. Damaged his ACL. Had 8 Brownlow votes in those first 3 games.
  12. His retaliation was worse than the original contact.

I think Tyson would be a great fit for the Blues, but it will be for a second round pick. Not the #1. Carlton currently has these draft picks: 1, 23, 26, 73 Dees currently have: 31, 44, 49 and 85. Hopefully we can pick up that pick 23 or 26 for Tyson. Essendon would be a good fit too... they have pick 27.
  14. Nobody can train on the MCG. If you got there during the week you will see why. There are these solar devices that are all over the field to simulate the required sunlight that the grass needs. Cam Schwab posted it on his twitter once.

Shiel is one of my favourite players but it would cost 2 first round picks. We dont have the currency, hence the club will be going all guns blazing to bring in a free agent this year.
  16. As an ex chef with some mates and old colleagues who have appeared on the show, I 100% second all of this.
  17. Here is a taste of what we will have this year. Petracca mid/fwd.
  18. Judd and Danger both have/had explosive breakaway pace mixed with an excellent top speed. Ablett is definitely very quick. He isn't as quick as them but there is no way you could say he is slow. He has good acceleration and good pace without being great. He doesn't need to be. He is stronger over the ball than most and uses his strength to his advantage. He has super quick reflexes and is 'clean' with his ball handling. He rarely fumbles. The stats sheet never tells the true story with Track as most of the time he does the right thing with his possessions and sometimes something special that others can't consistently do. Once his tank is bigger and he starts getting more of it he has the potential to become a star of the game (something we haven't had since Flower). Will it be this year? Possibly. Sit back and enjoy the show! Slow? You're dreaming pal.
  19. I was in a remote area with patchy internet. I was watching on the AFL ap which would show 30seconds and then cut out for 30 seconds. I got to see the great passage of play to get the ball up from one end to the other. I saw Salem take the mark and Crossy waving his arms to tell him to take the shot before it cut out. We were celebrating when it came back and I went nuts! I don't think I will ever forget that moment. So much suspense. I was confident that he would kick it.
  20. You should give it a go @CBDees. Bit of fun for the year. Setting up your team is the hard part and requires a bit of effort. But its very easy and fun after that.
  21. I'm back again. Hope my luck continues. Team Name: Johnny Utah.
  22. We are keeping the red back for away games vs Bulldogs and West Coast.
  23. Awesome. Common sense prevails! Looks great. Love it. No more white ever again. No more angry batman demon top. No more Bali knockoff! Great work.
  24. Demons finish top 4.
  25. I checked Oscars highlights the other day. They were pretty good (not as good as Petty's in my opinion). His disposal looked good at that level. He played forward a fair bit in them though. http://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/2014-11-27/pick-53-highlights-oscar-mcdonald
