Oliver doesn't care if you don't like him
I dont think so. The contact was there. He just let it happen. He could have braced. You dont know the difference ? Lol. No mention of Burgoyne or Gunston for exaggerating contact on the below the knee frees? What about Selwood grabbing his forehead when viney hit him in the chest?

Who do we realistically target for a trade?
I like what they are doing up there. Pick up Neale and Wallis and they would worry a lot of teams next year. Their midfield will go from average to strong. Problem is that we would only get a third rounder for Kent. He would be worth so much more if he could stay fit. Do we bite the bullet and take the third? I would rather keep him. I agree. Why are the Cats chasing him? Bizarre in my opinion. This is another weird one. Why top up with players and then trade out one of your more promising players? Surely you would try for another shot at the flag. Completely goes against what they did last year.

Who are our bottom six? And where do they rate?
Glad to see im not the only one who thinks Harmes has gone past Petracca. A fully fit Viney would be 3rd behind Gawn/Oliver. No way Jones is in our top 6 players anymore. I will come back and provide a 22 when I have more time.

Nathan Freeman
I would much rather give it to Johnstone.

Casey Demons v Geelong VFL Qualifying Final
How's Dec going Drunken? Is there any talk of another contract?

Andrew Gaff
They won't even bother blaming anyone else Clint. They will move on to the next rumour and act like nothing has happened. The public love this stuff so much that they won't care and move on just as quick.

The Importance of Jordan Lewis
Yeah, and if he kicks 5 we will win and he will be amazing. No point getting upset about a hypothetical situation.

Who do we realistically target for a trade?
Many are saying he is 'cooked'. He hasn't played at his best for a number of years and this year looks terrible. I think they have finally admitted he is injured and have stopped playing him.

Who do we realistically target for a trade?
I don't think that's the rule. You must take 2 first rounders in a four year rolling period. We took 2 in 2015, but none in 16, 17 and have no pick for 18. Which means that unless we trade in a first rounders this year or next, we will breech the rule and be barred from trading future picks. I wonder where the AFL would step in? Before we have infringed or after? We could trade out our 2019 first rounders this year if an amazing deal presented and promise to trade in first rounders next year. If we fail to bring in the picks the penalty would be that we wouldn't be able to trade picks for a number of years. Regardless, it wouldn't put us in a good spot going forward.

King: Oliver can be Dee's Dusty
Remember 2005 where he was on fire for the first three games of the year? Brent Guera targeted him at the start of the round 4, pinned his arms and tackled him heavily into the turf. Damaged his ACL. Had 8 Brownlow votes in those first 3 games.

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
Nobody can train on the MCG. If you got there during the week you will see why. There are these solar devices that are all over the field to simulate the required sunlight that the grass needs. Cam Schwab posted it on his twitter once.

Its interesting to look back on the 2016 draft. Still too early to tell how its going to turn out as the majority of players are still only finding their feet, but its clear that we didnt rate it. Traded out our best 2 picks and picked up 3 VFL players, 1 Speculative Small Fwd and 1 Speculative Ruck

What makes you think we would have taken Billings? Roos was big on big bodied midfielders at the time and I once pointed out that we might have taken the Bont. @Vogon Poetry had a very good theory that we would have taken Sharenberg at 3. Cant quite remember why he thought that, but it had me convinced.

Dylan Shiel
Shiel is one of my favourite players but it would cost 2 first round picks. We dont have the currency, hence the club will be going all guns blazing to bring in a free agent this year.

Demons on Masterchef (16/5/18)
As an ex chef with some mates and old colleagues who have appeared on the show, I 100% second all of this.

Petracca wants to start in the guts.
Here is a taste of what we will have this year. Petracca mid/fwd.

Petracca wants to start in the guts.
Judd and Danger both have/had explosive breakaway pace mixed with an excellent top speed. Ablett is definitely very quick. He isn't as quick as them but there is no way you could say he is slow. He has good acceleration and good pace without being great. He doesn't need to be. He is stronger over the ball than most and uses his strength to his advantage. He has super quick reflexes and is 'clean' with his ball handling. He rarely fumbles. The stats sheet never tells the true story with Track as most of the time he does the right thing with his possessions and sometimes something special that others can't consistently do. Once his tank is bigger and he starts getting more of it he has the potential to become a star of the game (something we haven't had since Flower). Will it be this year? Possibly. Sit back and enjoy the show! Slow? You're dreaming pal.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARRISON PETTY
I checked Oscars highlights the other day. They were pretty good (not as good as Petty's in my opinion). His disposal looked good at that level. He played forward a fair bit in them though. http://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/2014-11-27/pick-53-highlights-oscar-mcdonald

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO
I've been around here for awhile now. While the signs do look good, its still to early to tell. Similar things were said on here about Craig Cameron when he was our recruiter. While I dont think he did a bad job, he certainly got talked up here until things went sour. Edit: Also helped that Craig posted on here every so often! I always appreciated that.
