Shades of '87, albeit 31 years on
I have posted these before, but happy to give them another showing. These are original posters I got from the front of 2 newsagencies, and framed them years later

Round 22 Non MFC Games
Pretty ordinary game. I flicked across to the Storm game, now that"s how to win a game when all the odds (plus the commentators) are against you. Get whoever motivates the Storm down to the Dees....Urgently!!!

Dees who may be gone in 2019
Can someone please tell me if Garlett has a contract next year? If so, do we have a little chat or do we keep him on next year's list? At the moment he is showing little, but there may be a reason (family etc). After 3 game this year he was being touted as the best small forward in the competition, not sure what has happened.

Cyril Rioli
Stats, stats. stats....mean little really. I just used to like to watch him play, a bit like Flash when when others got the ball, first instinct is to look to see where Rioli was, because his closing speed was so good. It a shame that Bruce Mac dribbled over him so consistently because it turned me off him a bit. But for pure indigenous magic, he will be remembered as one of the best. Footnote: I also saw the goal that Richmond's Rioli kicked on the weekend....great to watch!

2018 Membership Thread
I received an email stating my son's and I membership wouldn't arrive in time and to print my tickets via a link. I logged in and followed the prompts, but when the instructions told me to select the "print at home" button, it didn't exist. Has anybody else had this problem. PS I tried on both a PC and a mac with the same result

2018 Membership Thread
This year will be my 10 year consecutive membership (dropped off in the early 2000's). Do we get recognition for 10 years consecutive membership. My "mate" is a EFC member and just clocked up his 20 yr membership and he got the most pathetic badge to commemorate (you couldn't hardly even see the 20 yr writing), he was so incensed he wrote numerous letters to the membership committee. I would love to get something better, just to wear around the office to rub it in. But also it's would be a nice thank you from our club too.

Time to show Oscar some respect!
NO. still a way to go, He is an enigma though, and I think he will get it right, but I still cringe when he gets the ball, when I can relax when he has the ball, then I will cut him some slack. I'm not knocking him, but a work in progress, and whilw we are winning I am happy to play him. Footnote: Enormous mark in the last quarter. He definitely has potential

Paul Roos - The golden rules of AFL coaching
It always amazes me the credence they gives Roos, here's a guy who has sent football in totally the wrong direction the past 6 or 7 years, any team he's touched, including St Kilda via Ross Lyon, has played the boringiest football on the planet, and last night's fiasco was typical of his influence, even last year premiers have the Paul Roos touch, avoid the centre, cause you might make a mistake and turn it over, and press up and strangle the game
