Fair enough. I would be interested to know exactly how many people actually turned up. -

Play Jeremy Howe as a forward
Demon_spurs replied to spirit of norm smith's topic in Melbourne Demons
I think Howe started to address his goal kicking issues last year, before they moved him back, I think he has good kicking technique and it's a confidence thing. I agree however he appears disinterested, not sure if it's all the talk of leaving, but I would think if a player wants to leave, he would be doing himself no favours by playing lackluster football. My view is he is a limited footballer, who goes well when all around are going well. He is not a game changer. -
We need an ex player to tell us we're fat

What would you have preferred him say? " I think we will get beaten?" Lots of negativity on this site at the moment, Look at the positive 1. Hawks aren't playing well 2. No Lewis and Mitchell or McEvoy 3. No Watts 4. Hogan, Brayshaw, Stretch. 5. And Chunk!!!!! I think it will be closer than you may think

Yawn...Coll vs Geelong this Friday night, I however will be watching Victory/City game interspersed with some NRL and some Adam and Eve action. However if they were to schedule a WB vs ??? or a Pt A vs ??? I would be watching. PS If it was a Dees game I would be at the MCG.

The perfect trade, our McKenzie for their McKenzie . Win-win for us

I think you are all looking at this wrong. It Roos' ploy to have Jack drop a few marks and squib a few contests, Richmond will dismiss him as NO THREAT, and he will rip them apart...Brilliant!!!!

Adelaide v Melbourne POST MATCH DISCUSSION - ROUND 3
Demon_spurs replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
I really wasn't being critical, just stating a fact, I understand that these players have some learning to do, If we can get less players going missing, and lets face it, lots did last week, the better we will be, I really like the fact we are discussing minor parts of the set up and not throwing our hands up in disgust (like the past few years). I see a great light, but AFL is about being involved for the whole game. -
Adelaide v Melbourne POST MATCH DISCUSSION - ROUND 3
Demon_spurs replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Really annoyed by the write up on the game on the AFL website, obviously a crow supporter, I thought we had a real dip today and the margin flattered the Crows, however and a big however, we rreally should have won that, players went missing in crucial times to point where I thought they must be injured, I point the finger squarely at watts, Vanders, kent, Tyson, Salem....It was left to the usual warriers, McD, Garland,Jones et al. Stop the drift in concentration and we win that one...Man that was really winable. -
I believe we will put up a better show against the Crows
-
That's an excuse, we were just beaten by a much more talented side, which are starting to get their act together. The lower clubs can never be expected to compete with a club that has been given so many concessions, AFL know that it HAS to work in Western Sydney if they are to save face, They have invested a lot of money to ensure it works. We cannot begin to compete with those odds.FACT!!!!

WEll I can't blame him for being frustrated, I felt like punching the ball away too and I was 700kms away
-
And Billy the KId at full forward
-
What amazed me was the lack of daring, last week we took the game on a ran, if we had of done that, these guys are young and throve on confidence, we gave them that confidence and from then on the game was over
-
You can't say that Dawes exactly had good service from his midfielders, why does everyone always blame the forwards when we get beaten, struth the ball didn't enter inside 50 much in the last half and yet it's Dawes's fault. What about DYson, Lumumba Jonesd et al?

This will be the understatement of the season, but there is a vast gap between the talent of GWS and the talent of teams like MFC, don't jump off quite yet, GWS are going to be a scary team in the next few years, they just showed what happens when you give a team so many number one draft options (for two years running) and then let them top up with the likes of Patfull and Griffen. This team is a 10 goal better side than Gold Coast. Thanks AFL for making it so much harder for the lower clubs to climb

Well it's hard to blame Dawes when the midfield is getting smashed....Blame VInce, VIney, Garlett, Kent, Jones Tyson.....Don't blame the forwards
-
They are just so slow
-
why are we just standing around watching
-
That was insipid effort to keep that in the forward line. We are moving the ball way too slow, what happen to the run run run from last week\

As if I care but scores are level in the swans ess game, maybe the peptides are wearing off
