Round 22 Non MFC Games
Pretty ordinary game. I flicked across to the Storm game, now that"s how to win a game when all the odds (plus the commentators) are against you. Get whoever motivates the Storm down to the Dees....Urgently!!!

Dees who may be gone in 2019
Can someone please tell me if Garlett has a contract next year? If so, do we have a little chat or do we keep him on next year's list? At the moment he is showing little, but there may be a reason (family etc). After 3 game this year he was being touted as the best small forward in the competition, not sure what has happened.

Hogan, Petracca ,Oliver,Viney, Brayshaw and Gawn are all worth more than pick one

Changes vs Western Bulldogs
Put Baker in and play him against Ed Richards.....a ginger off.

Game against Freo - umpiring
I notice that umpire no 28 isn't umpiring this week. ......should improve the overall standard no end.

Cyril Rioli
Stats, stats. stats....mean little really. I just used to like to watch him play, a bit like Flash when when others got the ball, first instinct is to look to see where Rioli was, because his closing speed was so good. It a shame that Bruce Mac dribbled over him so consistently because it turned me off him a bit. But for pure indigenous magic, he will be remembered as one of the best. Footnote: I also saw the goal that Richmond's Rioli kicked on the weekend....great to watch!

Changes v Fremantle
Why? Because we would miss his 5 min cameo? I love the bloke...but he has to get more involved

Changes v Fremantle
Out: Hannan, Tyson, Petracca In: Stretch, Garlett, Spargo Hannan 4 possessions today (I reckon at 62 I could get 4 possessions), been a fan, and they've given him lots of chances by time to play at casey Tyson: slow, poor foot skills, . say no more Petracca...needs a wake up. Doesn't do nearly enough ....anything......when the opposition has the ball

My 3 word player analysis V StKilda
BB29 I disagree about Petracca, disappears for loooong stretches of the game, then does something brilliant ( this is frustrating) This is the first time I reckon I think StK got it right by selecting McCartin

GAMEDAY - Round 14
Hmmm. For what it worth, I think the umps have been ok. Port flooding our 50. We have dominated most of that half for not a lot of return. Get off Brayshaws back, he's been good. best game from trac for a half a doz games. Keep this intensity up and we will win. Just need to keep doing the team thing, it will click. Much better effort than QB

Fat Ed wants QB as a Collingwood home game.
Yeah, but I really like winding up my Colliwobble mate, with statements "Oh isn't it home game for you this year?" and "Just treat it like it's your Grand Final" It'll take all my fun away

Congratulations David Neitz - 2018 Hall of Fame Inductee
I met him before the last Walk to G (MND) before the Collingwood game, got a selfie and he told me he had left the Hawks and was now doing some stuff around the club. Absolute gentleman. Onya Neita!!

Premium Members Getting Dudded By The Club
Received an email back today from George de Crespigny. Quote "This was an oversight at the Club and I apologise for the confusion. The solution we have reached (and had support on from Mike Anderson) is to continue availability of both rooms for premium member use, but that we ask for Premium Members to accept that part of the Ryder Room will be used by Victor Sports for a private function (60 guests) on this occasion." This is good PR, a prompt reply and an apology. It' won't be ideal on the crowded QB but I appreciated the email, and emailed him back to thank him. He also stated he would look into the amount of RFC members wearing MFC memberships.
