  1. Agreed he played a better than serviceable game today, but I wish he would stop playing for free kicks. Just suck it up princess and beat them next time, it's one flaw in his game that makes me cringe.

Not bad for a team which has played the most unsociable footv for the last decade to whinge when they lose. Just heightens my contempt
  3. When was the last time we won 4 in a row?
  4. Weed's game may have appeared irrelevant to you, but I think it's a journey we may all enjoy in a year or two.....be patient grasshopper
  5. You know it's little things like not having to rush Viney back in to the AFL, that means were becoming a better team. (This fact should not be understated). A few years ago, we would have brought him back underdone and suffered the consequences later in the season. This is really good news
  6. 9 Eagle free kicks to 3, no wonder they're so hard to beat in Perth
  7. Watching the WC v PA. Geez umpires get sucked in with "in the back" rule when a player throws himself forward
  8. What worries me is the hardness of Docklands. I had a kick to kick on it a year or so ago, it's like concrete
  9. Received an email back today from George de Crespigny. Quote "This was an oversight at the Club and I apologise for the confusion. The solution we have reached (and had support on from Mike Anderson) is to continue availability of both rooms for premium member use, but that we ask for Premium Members to accept that part of the Ryder Room will be used by Victor Sports for a private function (60 guests) on this occasion." This is good PR, a prompt reply and an apology. It' won't be ideal on the crowded QB but I appreciated the email, and emailed him back to thank him. He also stated he would look into the amount of RFC members wearing MFC memberships.
  10. I think MFC Members are gold medalists full stop. I see my friends turn up week after week to support this basket case of a team. Shame we are not appreciated as much as we should be, if you think that's being precious then you just don't get it. I have no problems with people inviting guests, I however wouldn't give my membership pass to an opposition supporter. So maybe we differ.
  11. So Saty, love your training reports but I think we are already being dudded by the way we are treated in the replacement games. My membership is for 11 "home" games, and I have sat simmering on the way are we treated in these quasi home games, this is just another instance of eroding my membership I have emailed the club and will be very interested what reply (if any) I get, I have been measured and respectful. But I'm not very happy !!!! PS I would be interested (respectively) if Praha is actually a premium member.
  12. Poor reply Praha. I for one will be emailing the club with a strongly worded email. When you buy the package (I'm a 10yr Redleg). They state access to both Ryder and Hassett Rooms, last night both rooms were chockers, so QB it will the same. This coupled with no reserved seating for replacement games and last weeks insult of paying an extra to access an area we can sit together. It's just adds insult to injury after we turn up week after week to support. Not F%$%king happy Jan
  13. I think 2 games in 5 days will see him back against Essendon
  14. Ouzo is mine. I can smell it in a bar of a 1000 people 50 metres away (shudder!)

Was the Wiz having a wiz?
  16. I received an email stating my son's and I membership wouldn't arrive in time and to print my tickets via a link. I logged in and followed the prompts, but when the instructions told me to select the "print at home" button, it didn't exist. Has anybody else had this problem. PS I tried on both a PC and a mac with the same result
  17. Maybe Adelaide should have moved Lever onto him.....Oh wait!
  18. I tuned in to SEN today at 3.24pm and got 6 minutes of adverts....Riveting stuff. I have set the dial to listening to podcasts and audio books until the football season starts again
  19. This year will be my 10 year consecutive membership (dropped off in the early 2000's). Do we get recognition for 10 years consecutive membership. My "mate" is a EFC member and just clocked up his 20 yr membership and he got the most pathetic badge to commemorate (you couldn't hardly even see the 20 yr writing), he was so incensed he wrote numerous letters to the membership committee. I would love to get something better, just to wear around the office to rub it in. But also it's would be a nice thank you from our club too.

What's the odds for him to poll top 5?

Jetta. Hibberd and Grey ( i refuse to succumb to American spelling)
  22. NO. still a way to go, He is an enigma though, and I think he will get it right, but I still cringe when he gets the ball, when I can relax when he has the ball, then I will cut him some slack. I'm not knocking him, but a work in progress, and whilw we are winning I am happy to play him. Footnote: Enormous mark in the last quarter. He definitely has potential

I'm not happy there's no FOB sponsorship
  24. It always amazes me the credence they gives Roos, here's a guy who has sent football in totally the wrong direction the past 6 or 7 years, any team he's touched, including St Kilda via Ross Lyon, has played the boringiest football on the planet, and last night's fiasco was typical of his influence, even last year premiers have the Paul Roos touch, avoid the centre, cause you might make a mistake and turn it over, and press up and strangle the game
