It frustrates me too, that the game is moving away from contested marking due to the chopping rules. A lot are not chopping but just arm contact in the marking contest. Although I will hijack this thread to moan about players that throw themselves forward when tackled and receive "In the back" frees, there are a few bulldog players that are masters of this.

They would if they could tap into the potential that is there, unfortunately it's a merry go round, the football quality is "meh" and wont get better unless funds are found, to increase player payment, and that wont happen until the networks think it has an audience (and people wont watch if the football is substandard)

My price quoted was for 4K so you can cheapen it a bit for HD or SD. Channel 9 probably will show no EPL on FTA, and the A league, which desperately needs the FTA exposure will get shafted again. I don't understand the logic for the Football Australia, not insisting on every game FTA and trying to grow the game, surely it makes sense in the long run.

Stan also has the Europa and Champions League, it would be nice if they picked the Serie A too, and it would definitely be worth the subscription (at present $22 basic +$15 for sports)

Slightly off subject, but as a young teen I went to Vic Park, and stood in the outer, must have been mid 70's, there was a hot dog booth in the middle of the crowd (Go figure), some enterprising Pie supporters thought it would be a great jape, to slowly tip the booth over till it reached about 45 degrees, causing sauce and hotdogs to slide all up one end, a constable sauntered across and said" C'mon lads that's not funny" (which was totally untrue cause it was hysterical). so they slowly righted the booth and let the guy get on with making hotdogs.
