Who do we realistically target for a trade?
Yeah, cause the game hasn't changed one iota since those days FMD

Yes, Jesse Hogan is his one redeeming action

Who do we realistically target for a trade?

Who do we realistically target for a trade?
Sam Mitchell. Leaving Eagles at end of year to come back to Victoria

Who do we realistically target for a trade?
So could Zac Jones as a Swan. Think they'd rather keep him than trade for Turnover Tyson

Yes, the reality is we are in the 8 and a real chance at playing finals this year. That's a fact, not a shadow, a false gospel or getting all "moist". Some on here conveniently don't want to accept that we are as much a chance of finals as we are not. But if you wish to keep wallowing in your MFCSS then as you say, knock yourself out. I too have been around the block, have seen many false dawns, but no premiership. I'm realistic enough to see this list is in a good shape moving forward with a coach that is learning and growing with the team. I think we can probably agree to disagree. I'll leave it at that for fear of going off banana topic. Go Dees!

I really wonder if you and WYL would actually enjoy sharing that beer Bub. Truly. Some on Land are fixated with the failures rather than the advancements we've made. That's the prevalent MFCSS. We are all disappointed at the losses, especially Sat night, but on the whole we still are a real chance at finals this year and certainly next year. Add Gaff or similar to a healthy list and there is much to look forward to. I am always optimistic about what we can do next week, next year. I hope. IMO what holds us back as a supporter base is the culture of negativity and the fall back into failure and blame. It's what I hear over and over from other footy following mates. You can choose to not expect much, or you can look forward to next week and be positive about what lies ahead. Let's enjoy the journey together, through the ups and the downs (nothing is perfect), but i honestly believe there will be more ups over the next 5 years. Rant over.

Who do we realistically target for a trade?
All upgrades, but not sure we have the leverage to get them all, or even most of them

Andrew Gaff
You really don't watch much football involving WCE, do you. The guy hits up targets regularly, including longer kicks. Previously an outside player, Gaff has taken his game to another level this year with improved inside work as well as 1%ers. If I was a betting person I'd be putting money on the double of him winning another B&F and finishing top 3 in the Brownlow. He's exactly what we need.

WC upping the years and dollars would ensure they get best compo when they lose him to free agency. Imagine the SC pressure if Gaff were to accept and stay, especially after signing on McGovern to big money. They'd be releasing contracted B and C graders during trade week quicker than a plane dumping fuel in an emergency!

He'll never be good enough to win a B&F with West Coast. Mark my words

Restricted FA. Should WCE match what he is offered elsewhere, a trade must be done, or he goes into draft for Carlton to snaffle up. Most clubs would trade beforehand IMO, like Cats/Danger

Farewell Jesse Hogan

Who do we realistically target for a trade?
Jeez, I thought Swallow was a lot older than 25. If his body is right, he'd be a handy pick up for Freo, especially for a 2nd rounder

The Many Sides of Jake Melksham
He became a dad in the last couple of years, which I think helped him to focus and mature. Hope he has another 100 games for us

2018 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Interesting article in The Rage today by Wayne Carey about the numerous father/son prospects in this year's draft. More than most other years apparently. If clubs bid for these it will push other draftees further back in the selection order. This might prove handy for us, given we currently have no 1st rounder
