  1. ^ Except that Bugg went for 6 weeks, picket
  2. He was facing him. Impossible to see where his eyes were looking, to be honest.
  3. Biffen hasn't posted much on here of late. Perhaps he's still hiding inside a putrid wardrobe at the Gat, despite all the construction and cameras
  4. Way too sensible for here DS. Don't let reason and balance get in the way of hysteria and hyperbole!
  5. Agreed. I didn't say Brayshaw wasn't assaulted (ie. physically attacked), but it wasn't outside a night club and he wasn't held by the police. With that logic, if it happened in Saudi Arabia he'd face 100 lashes. Context is different.
  6. Is it possible to block a post quoting a poster you have on ignore? Please, please, please....
  7. It wasn't and he wasn't. It was bad, very bad, but he won't be put in a cell by police. Not should he.
  8. If that's where the line is drawn, then every jumper punch, every tummy tap, every raised elbow should be charged by the cops as assault??? Gaff's hit was clearly bad and he will cop a heavy suspension. But he should not face criminal charges. That was my point. There's plenty of over dramatic outrage on this thread in the last hour or two
  9. Not defending Gaff at all, but your comments are way over the top, Fang. Lots of things happen on the footy field that would be assault on the street. Some are within the rules of the game, some not. That's the nature of contract sport. Gaff's hit was out of character, unacceptable and he'll rightly cop a heavy suspension. Still, I'd love him at the Dees next year.
  10. Damn you Dazzle!
  11. For the sake of us who use the ignore function PLEASE DON'T QUOTE DEELUDED
  12. My understanding is that the AFL can give them a pick anywhere. Could be after their 1st pick, or it could be 'mid first round' or it could be 'early first round'
  13. Why would WCE do a side trade as part of Gaff deal when their compo for him leaving as a RFA would surely be a pick inside top 10. In a draft with excellent high end talent, this would clearly be better than trading for, say, Tyson, Harmes or ANB. My understanding is that if Eagles do a trade for Gaff they get no AFL compo. A sneaky lop-sided trade on the side would not get past the AFL trade integrity officer (yes, I know AFL/integrity). Can't see this going through myself.
  14. Hardly consider Cooney the model judge of character. Heard some alarming things there.
  15. Not AA stats mate. Wrong. And you'll see further I acknowledged Hogan is 6th
  16. Yes, thanks. Stand corrected. Point remains
  17. Mate, this is absolute rubbish. Not one thing in the above quotes is correct. It is very rich for an anonymous internet poster to claim Hogan squib contests He is 2nd in the Coleman and his team mates are in awe of him. Pedo in AA form! Now I've heard it all.
  18. Advantage rule applied at Adelaide's descretion
  19. I with you Bitters, so to speak. C'mon Dees, no time like the present!
  20. Would rather 'the consistent umpire gets applauded and deserves another game next week'
  21. $2mill pa. Everyone has their price. Just that we didn't have that to spend until AFL stepped in with money and PJ
  22. I second that motion. All in favour?
  23. @Bitter but optimistic very quiet and safe on Land these days. @Biffen is unsighted. You gents in rehab or found some other vent for your perverted fascination?
  24. Very pleased ive got Deeluded/DV8 on ignore.
